Hero Waterproof Cameras

We put a Hero cam in its waterproof box, attached it to a glider, and sent it up with the pilot. It was mounted outside the aircraft. Apparently somewhere around 1,000 feet, not long after takeoff, the inside of the waterproof box fogged up. We missed the entire flight we had paid for. It's a very tight case and it is difficult to fit in, but these moisture packs do fit most of the waterproof cases. Buy a limited quantity first to see if they fit. In not, just keep them in your camera bag to protect the equipment.

Even though the Hero 10 is waterproof, I still purchased the protective housing to go snorkeling whilst on holiday. It's a excellent piece of kit. I would highly recommend getting one.

I have used the Media Mod for both my Hero 8 and Hero 9 cameras now for a couple of years I had a bad crash on my motorcycle and damaged my Mod for my Hero 9 and cracked the case. I have replaced and am back in action. They work perfectly for what I need to add an external mic and power source.

Its my first purchase of the Hero line of cameras and I think I bought in at the right time. I'm totally impressed by the build quality and the images. The image stabilization works a little too well as it takes away too much of the "action" out of videos, but that can be adjusted. I'm having a ball with the Hero 9 Black and I'm forward to the software improvements to come!

GoPro Jaws Flex Head is one the best & most versatile mount for all GoPro Cameras. I own GoPro Hero 9 and GoPro Max and I use this clamp for both cameras.
