I only use HP products, including Ink Cartridges, computers, etc. Hewlett Packard products are the best.

For the last time I've coughed up $150 for print cartridges for a Hewlett-Packard, never again! SuperTank bottles are $12-$14 and have twice as much ink and a HP cartridge. Seems to print every bit as nicely as HP but costs WAY less to operate.

I just purchased this Logitech speaker system, Z313 from Hewlett-Packard, on line. This system is truly awesome! I did have a desktop speaker system, just two speakers, and it was 'so-so'. I can hardly believe how much better and how very good this system is! The bass is excellent and so is the treble and the midrange. It's hard to believe that such good sound is coming from my computer! I do recommend this system to anyone..you will not be sorry!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product. I thought this item was plug and play, but our office computer is a bit old so it didn`t work out that way. The Brother website was set up very well, I had little issue finding the correct drivers to get this scanner working. Our company is currently in a hiring frenzy, so there are a lot of documents to scan in and send around. This scanner would feed drivers licence and other hard plastic documents with ease, and the colors looked amazing. Additionally, it was fast and easy to feed multiple documents into the scanner. The software made editing and saving easy. The price point on this scanner is more than fair for what you can do with it.

This is an excellent scanner. I have put 2000 photo's through it and ti continues to operate flawlessly. The only setup issue I had was finding the drivers. The documentation provides the site, but its wrong. Took me 30 minutes to find and retrieve the software and rivers. FYI: the drivers and software do not come with the scanner. They must be down loaded.

It's not a high-end Nikon film scanner, but then Nikon doesn't make film scanners any more and the Plustek scanner is far less expensive than the scanners Nikon made. It's surprisingly quiet and surprisingly fast, even with the funky respooled movie films that were sold in the 1970s. (I was worried about those.) Don't bother with Silverfast, although you will have to install it or the operating systetm will grumble when the Plustek drivers load. Instead, buy VueScan Pro (search for it on the Web) and Sascha Steinhoff's books. You'll be up and running in no time. If you're running Windows 8, you'll need to visit the Plustek website and grab the new drivers. For Silverfast, you'll need to register the serial number with your e-mail address and then download a version that will work with Windows 8. Scan to TIFF and use Adobe Lightroom for any necessary post processing. I have a bunch of medium format negatives that I'd like to scan and this scanner is limited to 35mm slides and negs, but I have a flatbed scanner that should be adequate for roll film negs. If you have old slides and negatives that you'd like to be able to see again, this is the way to go. PS: Plustek lies when it claims 7200spi resolution, but you probably already knew that. All you really need for 35mm film and slides is about 2400spi and this scanner can handle that.
