Hex end is a lifesaver!

Small but good, enough for my camera and drone.

The hex end keeps my lights from rotating. Why would anyone want anything else?

I think that this one can handle the hex screws of most equipment.

I primarily bought this camera for Aerial Video underneath quad copter. My thinking was that a crash would result in the destruction of a $ plus camera in addition to the cost of the quad. To my surprise, very little drop off in picture quality and minimal loss of functionality. I like the zoom feature and the overall video quality. The cons...no app for smartphone (that I know of)...It also comes with a variety of accessories that you have to pay separately with a GoPro. 5 stars!!! I highly recommend if you are doing the same!

This is a fantastic little tool, something I was looking for. Has all the tools you need with the camera. Small screwdriver, hex nuts for camera plates etc. in 4 different sizes, phillips head and flat head screwdriver. High quality build. Highly recommended. Better than cluttering the bag with lots of different hex wrenches and tools,

This is the usual solidly built quality Kirk product. The clamp has two hex screws and a hex wrench is included and sits within the mount. So, the clamp can be adjusted to give your camera more or less space from the L of the bracket. That's nice. I've used this for two panoramas thus far and it worked fine. I like having simple base plates on my camera instead of L plates becuase L plates on the camera restrict access to the ports. This solved the problem. Before I would change base plates which took some time because I like to have a wrist strap. Now I can do portrait or landscape almost as quickly as having the L bracket on the camera but normally I don't have the extra weight and no restrictions to the ports on the side of the camera.

Nothing fancy about this camera plate, but it's solid, sturdy and works very well. Be aware that it has a hex key type of fastener, not the use-a-nickel type shown in the photo. It does come with a hex key however, which is 3mm I believe.
