It's a beautiful experience listening to deep bass or instrumental music. Call quality is great too and they ares super comfotrable for wearing 2-3hr at a stretch. There are way too many features that I could not test. The connectivity to multiple devices is not very intuitive (TBH I have not seen the tutorial included in the app so it's partially my mistake) Overall, highly recommended.

I listen to classical music and acoustic modern jazzy music (97% instrumental). These headphones sound natural and feel comfortable on my head. If you like the K701 then these are much better. NOTE: They are not bassy; i.e. bass is neutral.

Great little addition to any instrumental setting

I thought I was stuck. I had a life interview of my mother-in-law from 2001 on a Hi-8 camcorder tape. Luckily, I still had the camcorder to play the tape. Elgato digitzed the two hour tape with no problem and saved the day. I was so pleased that I was able to put the interview onto a DVD just in time for the family memorial celebration of her life. It is highly recommended. The only negative is that the resolution leaves a little to be desired, I suppose due to the original being in Hi-8 format.

Sonos five is a Hi-Fi system. I have tried many different genres and volume levels and it sounds clear, no distorsión. I use it in a small living room of about 25 m2 and max level is loud enough so we stay a little below it. My wife and me take over the control of music in just a second. We enjoy to play music and then dance or just play with our kids while listening. Sound quality is great! Design is also outstanding. It's elegant and sober

I have tried and or owned many headphones and the ATH 50x bl is the best sounding and best looking of any. I have been listening to music since before HI-FI (70+ years old). I enjoy the portability of my music on iPods and smart phones and the M50x brings out the best of these devices. But hooked up to a simple CD player brings your music listening to a new level. During the recording of "Kisses on the Bottom" Paul McCartney along with Diana Krall and her band they wore ATH 50's. Listening to that album with my 50x's It felt as if I was at Capital Studios with them. Thank you Audio-technica for a great product. You made an old man very happy.
