Using this on my Sony AR74. It's slowl to focus but it takes pretty decent portrait shots and insect and flower shots but honestly, you seen one flower and insect shot, you have seen them all. Unlike people shots, shooting insects, animals, and flowers are kind of stupid because you really can't prove that was your shouts as opposed to random shots someone else took. 5 |

I BOUGHT THIS CLAMP WITH THE PURPOSE OF USING IT TO HOLD A REFLECTOR AND PARTS OF A FLOWER SINCE I DO A LOT OF MACRO PHOTOGRAPHY. I DECIDED TO BUY TWO WHEN I ORDERED, WITH THE INTENT OF USING THE SECOND FOR A MINI FLASHLIGHT WHEN I NEEDED MORE LIGHT WHEN IN THE FIELD. THE CONSTRUCTION IS SECOND TO NONE - VERY WELL MADE WITH A VERY STRONG CLAMP. DOES NOT MOVE FROM WHERE YOU FASTEN IT. THE OTHER END HAS NUMEROUS ADVANTAGES - WITH HOLD A FLOWER STEM WITHOUT DAMAGING IT - WILL HOLD THE EDGE OF A REFLECTOR - WILL HOLD A MINI FLASHLIGHT FIRM THIS CLAMP HAS PROVED INVALUABLE BOTH IN THE FIELD AND STUDIO. AN IMPRESSIVE PRODUCT, WELL MADE AND AFFORDABLE - I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO ANY PERSON. PERHAPS IT COULD BE USED FOR HOBBIES AND CRAFTS - EVEN DELICATE WORK. 5 |

I use the Wimberley plamp a lot in my Flower photography. To hold up a diffuser, reflector or a texture behind the flower. So having one plamp was just not enough. I clamp this on the travel tripod positioned where I need the assistance the most. Now I can have a diffuser on one plamp and a Texture on another! 5 |
