A nice way to upgrade computer speakers to get some good bass and power for your setup. 5 |

I do Youtube content creation and I was looking to replace my 3 piece computer speakers that I previously used for pc gaming with something more mature and accurate with sound profiles for audio recording. These are excellent for the intended purpose given that they only cost $200 but reflect sound you'd expect in a professional studio. I will say that they provide adequate bass but if you really want the thump and vibration for bass heavy frequencies you'd probably also want to spend on the subwoofer that can be purchased separately, I haven't turned these up full volume yet because I don't feel like intentionally angering neighbors but the audio is enough to fill whatever room you put them in and possibly the next several rooms as well. Very pleased with my purchase 5 |

I've had these speakers for 4 years, and now I've passed them on to my cousin. He absolutely loves them! I had this hooked up to my gaming/streaming computer and it works so well! My favorite thing about this product is the puck that allows you to control the volume and bass coming from the speakers (not computer volume). Having that physical control was perfect for me since I always had to turn the bass down at night. Overall I would recommend this underrated speaker to everyone except for those who's job is specifically editing noise. 5 |

I use these speakers for everyday use on the computer as well as playing music in my room, playing games, and video chatting with friends. I love the bass. I hear some people say that the sound is muted or too much bass. But you can manually reduce the bass if it is too much, which I find to be a benefit. I would recommend this product to a friend. 5 |

These headphones have great sound and amplification. The band isn't the sturdiest thing in the world, so this is the third pair I've bought in about five years, but I don't even care. The bass is nice but not too heavy (I can't stand heavy bass). I originally fell in love with these because my computer audio jack is screwed up and is only stereo if I plug headphones in halfway, and of course then the sound comes over the laptop speakers too. But these headphones are loud enough to hear loud and clear with the computer speakers inaudible so it doesn't bother anyone else. Not judging these based on whether they're editing headphones. I use them for listening. 5 |

I have two pair that are in a covered outdoor room that is 16 x 20 in size. The 251's use of two tweeters angled provides a wide sound field creating a great result for outdoor use. The sound is excellent even at low volume making it easy for my guests to both enjoy it and not have to talk over the music. One pair is installed high in the corner surrounded by wood which amplifies the bass. The other pair is surrounded by just air. Where they are installed makes a big difference as my two pairs sound very different when isolated offering an obvious lesson in acoustics. I use a pair of outdoor volume switches to balance them. I previously had them in another house where one pair were installed high covering a back yard and flooded a large area with sound. These speakers can play loud if need be. My experience with them in three different locations gives me a unique perspective in recommending them and attesting to there versatility . Few outdoor speakers will provide satisfying bass but if you have a choice of where to install, using acoustic common sense can aid in improving the bass. Mounted on wood vs. brick will change the sound, in corners vs open air.....etc. This is true with all speaker installations. Speaker reviews are subjective based on personal preference and expectations. These speakers are not bass monsters and their indirect tweeter array provides a wide sound that produces little fatigue. Auditioning any outdoor speaker outside of its actual installation is nearly a useless exercise. This model has now been around at least 15 years and obviously has been a good seller for Bose. I can say over the 13 years I have owned them, these speakers are durable, versatile and lived up to expectations at the premium price. 5 |

Exceptionally good speakers. Imaging is excellent, efficiency is very high, bass response is very impressive. The ability to angle the speakers is very useful. Handles high volume without distortion. Separation of bass, midrange, and highs is precise and crystal clear. Close your eyes and you would swear the musicians are set up and playing on your deck. 5 |

This 2.1 system has the advantages of an effective high quality stereo with the bass sub woofer. It is a snap to hookup to your computer and does not take up a lot of desk space. Excellent mid-range and bass. I would recommend these to anyone willing to expand their computer system to accommodate stereo sound. 5 |

I spotted these speakers to complete my desktop computer sound system, and I am not disappointed! I have a white desk, white keyboard, white curved monitor, white Fractal Design computer case, white pod chair...you get the idea. It's all very sleek and clean looking. But I wanted speakers that were high-quality and sounded good, with an appearance to fit in with my high-end computer system & home office. The Kanto YU2 speakers are prefect! I have them connected to a 50w 6 1/2 Yamaha ported sub under my desk, and it's actually a little overpowering. (I would like to add the sealed Kanto Sub6 in the future, I think it would be a better match.) But these speakers are not concert hall loudspeakers, they are limited in a perfectly appropriate way for a desktop, facing you a short distance away. That said, they also fill my room with sound, and I listen to them in my nearby kitchen & living room as well. Quality is very high, they have a very sturdy, well-done construction. They actually manage to produce respectable bass, but are quite complete with eh sub I described. I even love the included Kanto 1/4" headphone cable, I use it with my iPhone on occasion. Otherwise, these speakers are connected to my computer via USB, which required no set-up. LOVE them! 5 |

Like many who buy these speakers I read lots of reviews first, both in journals and on websites and from customers who bought them. Yeah, they are expensive but if one considers them high-quality bookshelf speakers rather than high-quality computer speakers they are a bargain. Yes, I am using them as computer speakers but only because I already have large, dedicated sound-system floor speakers. While the A5+ speakers are inspired by studio monitors they are more versatile. First of all, like monitors they will not improve a bad recording. I noticed right away how poorly engineered and recorded some of my favorite 60's rock songs were. And like monitors I can hear things on the recordings such as coughs, dropped objects, and percussion instruments I'd never heard before. But unlike near-field monitors they have a wider stage presence. I have my speakers about ten feet apart and could certainly separate them more without losing that presence. The sound quality is incredible - clean and crystal clear. Some buyers might consider a sub but I am perfectly happy with the bass they produce. I'd rather hear the music the way it was intended to be heard. No messing with equalizers or tone dials. Build quality is incredible. Some folks might not think the design is modern enough, but for me, the understated, matte finish and simple design is exactly what I wanted. The main speaker is heavy, but when you consider what Audioengine put in it, I am amazed it's not heavier. As for the cooling fins, I have not yet noticed them getting even slightly warm. So am I happy with this purchase? Absolutely. Love the speakers and love the service B&H provides. 5 |
