Two years ago, I had to sell my previous monopod, of the Gitzo brand, due to my financial problems, so I recently sought to purchase this less-costly alternative as a replacement. If the Gitzo products are truly of the high quality they seem to be, then this Tiltall monopod is certainly a match! The materials are all well formed and finished. The monopod arrived inside a thick plastic bag, with that inside the carrying case, and then the outer cardboard box. Included is a very nice instructional booklet (pictures, diagrams, specs, clear text) and a wrench. The foot screws out/in to conceal/reveal the spike. This monopod is attractive and would look good if used at formal occasions. The moving parts all work smoothly and properly. This is tall monopod, and, of course, it is as light as a feather when extended, yet very stiff, just as it should be. All-in-all, I'm pleased to be using it with high confidence, and I wanted to write this review to offer a recommendation. 5 |

I was on a high-pressure job shooting testimonials for a financial institute and I decided it wasn’t worth messing around with all my old cables. I wasn’t sure which ones work and which ones are bad. So I just replaced all of them. Buying this product, gave me the confidence going into this big job that I have my act together. What a small price to pay. 5 |

I used this training aid to learn how to set up 3 point lighting and camera distance control for video interviews. The instructor is not pushy about his approach to lighting but suggestive. 5 |

At some point, those other tiny desktop speakers are no longer what you're looking for. A hearing-aid wearer needs the best fidelity and clarity. The Audioengine speakers have real components, and are nice and clean from soft to loud. Lute, pipe organ, classical guitar, singing voice - all nicely done. Speech is easy to hear. Note, as they say in the instructions, the speakers do have some break-in. At first, they sound a little bright and tinny, and mellow out as the larger element comes to itself. Sub-woofer needed? Possibly not, if you're happy to hear the deepest tones as background. These speakers do that job. If you want room-shaking whallup, then you'll need a bigger cone and heavy mass, etc., a sub. Altogether, the 2 bookshelf speakers are very nice for size and price. 5 |

I used this for my photo assignment at university and it printed in really nice quality. However I since this was my first time printing high quality pictures (RAW pictures from a Nikon D40) I didn't realize how matte matte would be. In a way this paper is similar to really fine grained cardstock, as a result some of my pictures came out looking flat. The colors are also more muted than I thought they would be (due to the flatness). Also, the front of the paper is the side that is a bit more white, the back is a tad bit yellow. For matte paper, this is really good and high quality, dried quickly and doesn't smear (no fingerprints!). If you're looking for nice matte paper, this is great. It was also a lot cheaper than the stuff at my local @ and came with free shipping which was really convenient! 5 |
