High Quality Low Price Computer Speakers Under 50

High quality. Low cost

Low price high quality. I bought a new phone with a USB type-C charger and this was a great way to convert my other chargers instead of having to buy all new cables. and whats great Is if I know a friend will have an android charger near buy I can just bring this tiny adapter with my instead of carrying about a long cord. And this thing doesn't feel cheap, and I don't imagine it breaking any time soon.

Cons: plastic construction Pros: Low price High quality discrete audio files Excellent pre-amps for the money Multiple connection options (xld, mini, etc.) Phantom power alkaline or usb powered good form factor. I really like this unit and how it fits between my tripod and my camera when I'm shooting solo. Sure, you could complain that it doesn't have onboard mics, but that's not what it's for. If you need that, get a zoom or other handheld recorder. The plastic body won't take much abuse so you do need to treat it carefully and it's battery hungry on phantom power (no surprise there) but it runs a long time on external USB power and the dual stereo function is worth it's weight in gold, in my humble opinion.

This is a nice enough monitor. Low price, high contrast. But low build quality as to be expected. No complaints.

Low price, great quality

Like many who buy these speakers I read lots of reviews first, both in journals and on websites and from customers who bought them. Yeah, they are expensive but if one considers them high-quality bookshelf speakers rather than high-quality computer speakers they are a bargain. Yes, I am using them as computer speakers but only because I already have large, dedicated sound-system floor speakers. While the A5+ speakers are inspired by studio monitors they are more versatile. First of all, like monitors they will not improve a bad recording. I noticed right away how poorly engineered and recorded some of my favorite 60's rock songs were. And like monitors I can hear things on the recordings such as coughs, dropped objects, and percussion instruments I'd never heard before. But unlike near-field monitors they have a wider stage presence. I have my speakers about ten feet apart and could certainly separate them more without losing that presence. The sound quality is incredible - clean and crystal clear. Some buyers might consider a sub but I am perfectly happy with the bass they produce. I'd rather hear the music the way it was intended to be heard. No messing with equalizers or tone dials. Build quality is incredible. Some folks might not think the design is modern enough, but for me, the understated, matte finish and simple design is exactly what I wanted. The main speaker is heavy, but when you consider what Audioengine put in it, I am amazed it's not heavier. As for the cooling fins, I have not yet noticed them getting even slightly warm. So am I happy with this purchase? Absolutely. Love the speakers and love the service B&H provides.

I use this with my computer workstation and have the computer speakers plugged in as a "slave" to my computer so they power down automatically with the computer. Made of high quality materials, I expect many years... decades of use from this product.

The AV 1 Audio/Video High to Low Impedance interface by Pro-Co Sound is an invaluable tool for an facility that uses computer projectors and live sound. We have three in-house PA systems where various groups meet. Typically, images are projected from a laptop to a large screen. The AV 1 provides a quick, quiet connection between the computer or projector and allows us to pump the sound directly through the house system. Due to the multiple sets of inputs, it can be connected to a variety of sources without special adapters. The AV-1 also doubles as a direct boxes for plug-acoustic instruments. I recommend it highly.

VERY GOOD QUALITY WITH LOW PRICE

I wasn't expecting much from $50 computer speakers but you'd never know how much they cost from hearing them! They get very loud and have good volume with minimal distortion with increased volume. The quality is okay, too. Even though they are made from hard plastic, it doesn't look/feel too cheap. I think these may be the best computer speakers B&H sells for the money.
