High School Teacher Supplies List

Does exactly what I expected. I am a high school teacher and use it with many students and it does an excellent job.

I am a graphics teacher at the high school level. We usually go through a few of the cheap tripods each year... plastic breaks, aluminum legs bend, stuff happens. I am now done replacing them because I plan on only buying these tripods. They are incredibly strong, have great build quality, and are extremely versatile. Being able to switch from portrait to landscape is very handy. It is a little on the heavy side, but I think that makes it stronger and more stable. The ballhead is smooth, and only requires one hand to reposition. I really like how the quick-release plate can snap in without touching the tripod, and it is square, so there is no right or wrong direction to put it on.

As a photography teacher I use this film with high school students who have never shot on film before. I have found this film to be the best compromise between quality and value, I highly recommend it. In addition, the 400 film speed is perfect for students just learning to use old 35mm film cameras. If only it wasn't to expensive to develop and print these days!

I am a high School Film teacher and a weekend home movie maker. This film stock is my go to for all shooting. I recently took my K-100 on my honeymoon and the results were excellent. I recommend this for all color shooting and it projects beautifully.

I am a High School Art teacher, Macro photography is pretty new to me, but this lighting system is the most versatile piece of equipment I've bought in years. Read the list of included items carefully, this setup will take a non flash command camera, and make it a portable light studio. One thing really worth mentioning, the focus/auto focus on your camera will rotate the whole unit. careful not to bump any of your subject while focusing.

I am a high school film production teacher and needed a tough JIib to teach my studenys with. I bought this one thinking that it seemed to have everything I needed. I was suprised at just how easy it was to assemble and configure to alter the lenght. My students have caught on to the use, assembly, and disassembly. The action of the jib is smooth and easy to use. If I had to find a weakness it would probably be the overall weight of the kit, however it is a 12' jib, so I was expecting something with some serious heft to it.

I am a teacher, so my students and I use the glidecam to shoot smooth and steady videos for our high school. This model came with a DVD and instruction manual that were easy to follow. The glidecam takes some time to use effectively, but does what is advertised.

I am a video production teacher at a high school and also do live broadcasting of sporting events on our campus. We use this piece of equipment to bring in video from the field cameras to our Tricaster for the live stream. The main unit is in the press box and the video quality is great with out any lag. I have cameras that are at least close to 75 yards away with people in the stands and the product works great. I would highly recommend

I am a high school digital media teacher and part time film-maker. I have used the Tascam for recording a documentary I am working on. The sound quality is excellent, the user interface is fairly simple and the portability is a plus. It has raised the quality of my project and will be a real benefit to my students.
