I've been a customer of Datacolor since I got my first digital camera. The ease and speed of calibration have always been impressive. Being able to monitor the ambient light levels is a fantastic development. I now know I can edit my files with confidence, no matter what time of day or where I'm editing. (I have calibrated morning studio, afternoon studio and evening home settings which I choose depending on where I'm working on my files.) My clients always comment of the quality of my finished files. Buy one now! 5 |

The camera is not too big and is not too small. It's better than the other big SRL because of high speed in taking/download the pictures. 5 |

It’s very sturdy to protect the camera and the suction is excellent for high speed adventures. 5 |

I specifically went with this not only because of the better price, but because of the lower operating temps - even with the high speeds. Western Digital and Samsung either had slightly higher operating temperature ranges when under load or were not quite as fast in speed. This works flawlessly, stays cool, and operates at the rated speeds. I use this in a Dell XPS 17 9700 which runs fanless most of the time except if there is a bit of heat generated from maxxing out the ram, or heating the M.2 ssd. If transferring a very large set of files like 500gb or 1tb, then it may get a little toasty for a moment enough to run the fans. Otherwise, it seems to stay quite cool for regular use or file chunks here and there. I tend to get more than I need when it comes to memory so it can last much longer, so I am only using 1/4 of the capacity as a primary drive. 5 |
