Upgraded our internet speed with Comcast to 500mb/s so I needed a DOCSIS 3.1 modem. This modem was reasonably priced and has been very reliable. This modem is connected to a Netgear R7000 router so I have never used it cabled directly to a PC, but on the wired connection of the router speeds have been over 500mb/s, close to 600. Highly recommended if you are looking for a DOCSIS 3.1 cable modem.

I recently had my internet provider to increase my speed (from 150mbps download to 330mbps). It turned out that my old Wi-Fi card that I had on my PC couldn't quite handle the speed even though it was rated that it can. I bought this card out of curiosity just to see if it was the PC that was causing the bottleneck and not the card. Once I installed it, the download transfer rate just about doubled compared to the old card. In fact, the speed is about the same I'm getting if I had the network cable connected directly from the modem to the PC Ethernet port itself. Anyway, I would advise anyone to first check their wireless router or wireless modem/router to see what Wi-Fi standard it uses. If you still using an old modem/router, this card will only go as fast as that set up allows it to.

I upgraded my internet to gig and needed a new modem and router that could handle the new speed since my Google WiFi couldn’t. This set up just as easy and has great coverage. Highly recommend.

Before this awesome modem/router unit, we had a modem AND a router. With the AC1900, we’re saving money on the modem rent and electricity. The 4 ports are more than enough for our devices. Our ISP provides us with up to 200mbps of internet download speeds and with this modem/router, we sometimes even go above that speed. The internet would never crash or drop in speed unlike our old modem. The range of the signal is also much further and reaches throughout our entire apartment. If you are thinking of buying this modem/router, I highly recommend it.

This is first time that my wifi internet connection speed reaches the 1GB using this combined modem and router.

I got this to replace an ARRIS SURFboard SB6183. Comcast increased my internet speed and advised me to upgrade my modem. This is modem is excellent. Installing on Comcast was horrid. I couldn't get a human on the phone to give them the new MAC address. I have a Linksys EA8300 router. I had to reset the router to get it to work with the modem - bug ugh.
