I use the Pearstone USB-C Male to USB Micro-B Male cable with my laptop to run my media server. I replaced an older cable that didn't have the micro 3.2 tech in it and the speed difference is noticeable. Previously with the old cable I would occasionally get stutters in the video when I played back 4k content but once I swapped out cables with this one I played back the same content without issue. I have the longer version of this cable so I have the same exact thoughts on both. �If you do not need the speed of a USB 3.1 cable and you have some newer USB C style devices then this is for you. �If you plan to get a USB C computer of any kind in the near future then I would recommend just getting the USB 3.1 version as it should be backwards compatible. �If you only need it for charging purposes then just save some money and stick with this USB 2.0 version. �I prefer the 3' one for hard drives or devices near my desktop that I will not be moving around very much and the 6' for charging purpose for some of my mobile devices. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cable has a durable braided cord, and the connectors fit snugly on either end. It appears well made, and charged our device adequately. In order to take advantage of its high speed charging capability, you would need a compatible high voltage outlet adapter, so we were not able to assess charging speed. 5 |
