High Strung Tuning

Tivoli makes high quality products and the PAL is no exception. Specifically, excellent FM reception in a location where most radios fail. I was dubious of going back to an analog tuning dial, preferring digital with programable buttons. The tuning dial works very well, though and I have no regrets. My wife loves the sound and ease of use, too. The PAL replaces a cheap Panasonic and the PAL is worth every penny in comparison.

I like to carry a second lens, and this product can be strung on my belt. Its walls are thick so even when I bump into seats and rails getting onto and off busses, the lens is protected.

These are excellent binoculars. I've used Steiner 7x50's before and the clarity is just as good, at a tiny fraction of the price. These are focus-free binocs for only $30 bucks. The only tiny nitpick are the lens caps - they come off too easily and I can see them getting lost. But I can MacGyver a solution - string them together using 200lb test fishing line with small holes thru the lenscaps and the fishing line strung thru the caps. Then all four lens caps will be strung together and easier to keep from losing them. Not a big deal. Buy these binocs; you're an idiot if you buy more expensive ones.

Versatile - the two pouches clip together, or they can be strung on a belt or strap, or simply put in the camera bag. Neat - just the right size for the lithium-ion batteries for my SLRs and not too big to use on the batteries for my compact pocket cam. MUCH better protection than simply dropping the batteries into a pouch on the camera bag. Cheap as chips.
