I use this printer for high volume on-site printing of event photos. I use multiple printers in a pool to increase throughput, and typically print 300-400 prints per hour. The DNP is replacing another brand for two reasons: Durability - the DNP is more solid and feels like it is more durable. Ease of maintenance - The DNP does not use cartridge ribbons, which allows for clearing if they get stuck. With cartridge style printers, if the ribbon jams you pretty much have to send it to a service center. The color rendition of the DNP is a pleasant surprise - spot on right out of the box. 5 |

I found this easier to load and simple to process with than a typical paterson and a 6 sheet holder. The reduced volume of chemicals is a big plus and its much more portable for developing while I travel 5 |
