Higher Education Macintosh Computer Lab Maintenance

I work in higher education and my communications office bought this to use with our Nikon D3300 DSLR to make low-budget promotional videos that don't require a professional videographer. The sound quality far exceeds the camera's built-in mic and an old hand-held shotgun mic we inherited. The wind-guard it comes with helps a lot on windy days and it mounts on the camera's flash shoe.

I purchased the Glide Gear TMP100 to use for my video production work in higher education. The kit came in a handy carrying case that makes it very portable. It's lightweight yet sturdy. I had it set up, on the tripod and ready to use in about 10 minutes. It really couldn't have been much easier. Zipping up the sides of the hood was the most challenging, but no big deal. This will help make our messaging to our audiences more professional, concise and on target. I am looking forward to using this regularly with both a DSLR and an iPhone.

This MacBook is fast. I've owned a Macintosh computer since the early fat Macs came out back in 1984. This one blows everything away. Everything I throw at it works so smoothly. Even Zoom backgrounds work great without a green screen. Transferring everything from my previous MacBook was trivial and took less than 15 minutes transferring via wifi.

It works with my Macintosh laptop computer. Now when I give a PowerPoint presentation I can stand in the front of the room, control PowerPoint without having to appoint a flipper, and highlight things on the screen.

I ordered 20 of these to use my middle/high school computer lab. They work perfectly!

Purchased 4 of these units for a lab environment. They work perfectly. They help keep the countertops clear of wires and the bulky monitor or all-in-one computer. We are using the Lenovo all-in-ones at some stations and the arm holds up the heavier computer just fine with the adjustment spring. The adjustment spring works great and you can adjust how much tension you want so you can put the screen at the perfect ergonomic level for the person using it. Mounting it to the wall was very easy and straightforward. Caps covering the mounting screws finish off the clean look. The whole Mount-It! system is great. We also purchased countertop pole mounts and they too are great.

I purchased these specifically to monitor power usage in my home computer lab. I had to fight a little with the Kasa app to configure them, but once configured they have integrated perfectly with Prometheus to monitor power consumption, and with Home Assistant for remote control (without using Kasa's cloud-based app). I'm not a typical user, but these are working well for my needs.
