Highest Dpi Printer

I wish it was available in 1200 dpi.

I use this film to make silkscreen positives. I use it with an inkjet printer at 2880 dpi to create 30 lpi CMYK halftone screens. I am limited to 30 lpi because of my silkscreen mesh not the printer or film. Keep in mind the product is slightly opaque, I use a custom ICC profile and have not used the profile provided by Pictorico.

I have previously used the Epson 2200, 2800, and 3000 series printers. All have been excellent printers. I received the P-900 last week and have been printing color and monochrome images up to 16 X 20 (on 17 X 22 Premium Luster paper). I have not tried the roll paper adapter as it is currently unavailable, but I look forward to printing panoramas when available. Overall the P-900 printer is the best that Epson has produced by comparison to my three previous printers. Monochromes pop better, the colors appear better when compared to prints made from the previous Epson printers. The four inch monitor provides complete information regarding the image being printed and the menus are easy to navigate through. For a 17 format printer with roll paper capabilities; it is remarkably light weight (about 36 lbs) and occupies the same space as my 13 3000 printer on my desk. Print speed when printing Standard (1400 X 720 DPI) and Hi Quality (1400 X 1400 DPI) is remarkably fast. When printing at Max Quality (5600 X 2600 DPI) the time to print is greatly increased. However, the image quality by comparison between Standard ,Hi and Max print quality is indistinguishable on Premium Semi-Gloss and Premium Luster Finishes. The Hi and Max print qualities may make a difference when printing on fiber/cotton based papers. Overall, an outstanding performer that all photographers and graphic artists should seriously consider.

Easy to setup. The quality of both the hardware and software is excellent. The printer works flawlessly with our iPhones and our desktop PC. We pretty much do all duplex printing/copying/scanning. Love the single pass duplex ADF scanner, it never jams. The 600 DPI scanner resolution is great. Also the OCR scan gives me the searchable & annotatable PDFs that I need. My previous printer's reversing duplex scanner jammed more often than not. Also, the 600 DPI ADF scanner resolution is a vast improvement over my previous printer's 300 DPI resolution. Some other manufacturers tout their flatbed scanner resolution and don't mention the fact that their ADF scanner resolution is still limited to 300 DPI.

I LOVE THIS PRINTER!!! It absolutely prints the highest quality I have ever seen from any printer I have ever owned. Thank you for a quality product that works so well!

The highest rated toner for your laserjet printer. The cartridge includes a chip to authorize it as a compatible toner cartridge, to exclude all others. The manufacturer claims it is good for the average of 2400 pages of typed text. A much better deal than the standard toner cartridge, for a cost of about 4 cents of toner per printed page, at a cost of about $88 per cartridge.

This paper has the highest Dmax I have so far used with the Epson P800 printer. It is not terribly convenient to have to load each sheet from the front loading tray in order to obtain the maximum benefit. Having a custom icc profile made will help that problem using the top loader.

This is my first box of this paper. I have printed about 15 color and B&W photos at near 11x14 size using the highest quality print settings on the printer. The results are excellent, which I take to mean that the printer and the paper are well matched.
