Having owned the lens for about a year, I use it mostly for historic architectural and street scene photography, as well as for some portraits. The lens is almost a work of art itself, solid feel that comes from metal construction, handles beautifully on my K200D. Reliable auto-focus, GREAT depth of field capabilities, plus the best color rendering of any lens I have ever owned. I simply FEEL GOOD about the images this lens produces!

I use these boxes for storing my family historic pictures and documents.  They are sturdy, safe for my photos, and look nice.  I have purchased a large self-stick plastic pocket for the outside where I can list the contents of the box, and change the content as needed. I purchased stacking shoe shelves that work perfectly for shelving each box individually.  Service was fast. Boxes arrived well packaged, and the boxes are high quality. Ill be back for more!

I’m an amateur photographer of historic architecture. Camera Nikon D750, edit images with Lightroom CC on MAC 27”. Use f/18 aperture for depth of field (probably overkill). Images sharp throughout, no vignetting. No noticeable barrel or pincushion distortion. So far only need “vertical” geometry edit for perspective control; have not yet needed “guided.” All verticals perfectly straight. If you leave enough room in the foreground (which is good composition anyway) the Lightroom geometry vertical edit cuts surprisingly little off the lower right and left corners. I had expected more at 16mm. The lens seems to transmit as much information to the sensor as my Nikon lenses, so all color, contrast, etc. edits are possible. Very affordable for the amateur.

I store old photographs, documents, and historic books in these boxes for their protection. I order more whenever I acquire more memorabilia in need of preservation. I strongly recommend the product.

I shoot a lot of low light interiors in historic buildings - no lights or sticks allowed. The JOBY has given me a ton of creative possibilities by giving me support and stability, while being off the floor and not alarming the docents. In sanctuaries I put the rig on the top of a pew bench and leave no trace. Highly recommended!
