Historical Facts About Orchestra String Instruments

Lots of articulations that play well together. I also find the synchron player easier/faster to use than Vienna's older Vienna Instrument player or Kontakt based sample sets. Note that Elite sits somewhere between Chamber and Pro/I orchestra in terms of number of strings. I find that the number of strings in the Pro/I orchestra is enough that you lose some of that sense of 'bow on string'. With Elite you still hear some of that 'bow on the string'. Layering Elite on Pro is also really useful. 5 |

a great closely MICed string ensemble. great for small orchestra work. Definetly a learning curve to figure things out, but rewards when you do. 5 |

I use this mic to record string and wind (brass mostly) instruments. The different patterns make it effective in a variety of spaces depending on whether you want to reject other sounds or include reflections. Versatile and great sound quality. 5 |

This mic sounds very nice for vocals, plucked string instruments, and woodwind instruments (at least that's what I've tried it on). I highly recommend it! 5 |

I shoot historical objects for our local Historical society. Controlled lighting is important in order to show detail and reduce reflections. Access is very good for both object and camera. It opens and closes for storage quickly and can be stored behind a file cabnet Wish I'd bought one long ago. 5 |
