This speaker sounds fantastic. It's sound just has to be heard. Perfect crisp highs and such deep thumping lows. It's got me sat listening to all different songs and genres just to hear how good they sound. So glad I bought it and I nearly didn't after hearing there demo speakers in the shops. Sonos one thing you need to do is showcase your speakers better in the shops because they sound 1000% better once you get them home. I have a Bose soundtouch home cinema and I bought it rather than a playbar because the Bose sounded pounds better than the playbar on the demo. I was then looking to expend with a soundtouch 30 for multiroom until I heard a friends play 5 and it amazed me I was gutted because I love Bose speakers and so wanted to prefer them but these play 5 speakers have really given me the wow factor. My friend also has the playbar and that sounds amazing too. Sonos you really need to demo the playbar better because it sounds pants in the shops and that is why I bought the Bose home cinema as opposed to the playbar. Now I have a dilemma do I sell my Bose home cinema so I can get the playbar and sub and have multiroom audio or do I just buy a connect so I can connect that too my Bose. Either way I'm hooked with the sonos setup, app and expansion capabilities. Just wish the prices hadn't recently gone up as that has made them a really expensive option even though they sound fantastic. 5 |

I am soooooo pleased with the Roku Wireless Speakers. I had a Sony 5 speaker surround sound system before and I replaced it with the wireless speakers. I am blown away! They sound so clean and crisp and they are WAY LOUDER than the Sony system. Setting them up is a breeze. It took less than 5 minutes. Also, the build quality is top notch! The speakers weigh over 4 pounds each! Weight is a good thing when it comes to speakers. I haven't always been a fan of Roku but over the last couple years they have really stepped up their game with the Roku smart TV's and now these speakers. I am in love with these! Also, Thank you Roku for the early VIP overnight shipping! Roku rocks! 5 |

I have a tech savvy friend that swears by Sonos, I have 3 Bose wireless speakers at home that I use in back yard and patio, and thought that it was great... Until I heared L5 at his house.... Holly smokes..you can hear every note with no back static and the base is so on point, just like you are at a club. My summer is coming along just fine:-) 5 |

Unit has Blue Tooth but will not sync with my old Sony wireless speakers from my Sony DAV-HDX576WF unit. Please advise how to do this or do I just toss those speakers, etc? 5 |

I’m building my Home Theater set-up starting with with these speakers. Right now they are being used as my front stereo speakers. If you just need them for an office/bedroom/bathroom/garage setting, you can’t go wrong. The speakers have crossovers and in this price range it is absolutely unheard of, (pun intended). I especially appreciate that the port is located on the back (instead of the front) of the speaker, and that just means I needed to place them on a surface away from the wall instead of hanging the on the wall. The result is that of a ‘reflective 3D sound field’ that reproduces amazing depth and precision location of voice/instruments in the recording. By this purchase alone, I’ve been convinced of the quality of Sony Audio Products and am looking forward to the next step of my HT by obtaining the STRDH790 receiver and all the features that it offers, such as the virtual surround using these speakers, Bluetooth and DTS X, that uses location based sound decoding without the use of additional speakers (Dolby Atmos). Of course, to utilize this technology my current speakers will be repurposed to surround speakers when the purchase of new F/L/R & sub speakers are complete Looking forward to growing my system with Sony. 5 |

I spent few months researching on my home theater. I purchased these without listening to them. I bought them over thanksgiving sale at best buy. I bought 4 of these SS-CS3 floor speakers for my home theater. Added the center speaker Sony SS-CS8. Bought 4 Sony Atmos SSCSE, and hooked them up on the ceiling. Got a Definitive Technology subwoofer that goes through the subwoofer spectrum of human hearing frequency 20Hz - 20Khz. Then, I bought the Onkyo TX-NR787 receiver. Turns out TX-NR787 delivers 220 watts at 60hms and 100 watts at 80hms. Sony SS-CS3 speakers are 6 ohms. So, the home theater sounds amazing...I connected a UHL55 LED projector to this...And, the experience is phenomenol. I go to my home theater daily to listen to different music videos and movies and sounds. Its a great experience. People who saw and heard the system loved it....I wouldn't have written such a big review, but, for my love for these speakers. 5 |
