The APC P8VNTG Power Saving Surge Protector is a great product, potentially impacted by inferior quality. The product itself is attractive, well, as attractive as a power strip can really be. The black design melds into most home theater decors. I personally like the blue LED lighting, but they are VERY bright. So if you don't have the power strip hidden behind something, the light may be distracting.

This is very helpful to add another device to the end of an extension cord, without using a large surge protector or power strip. Small and rugged.

Works well and much more than a surge protector. I used this to replace my old power strip. It works great adding 8 outlets to my stereo that can be turned on and off from the front of my equipment.
