Easy to setup and manage, great for home network use.

I bought 2 of these for my home network on a raid 1 setup, no issues and also bought Seagate for its performance and reliability.

I can say compared to other modems or wifi devices I owned this one is top tier. Easy setup and managed all network on home system. Has options to setup separate wifi networks both 2.4 and 5 G networks on top of the already default wifi gateways. Being able to keep the main wifi separate from guess use and limited the data used for each WiFi keeps unnecessary data from being used is a great feature. No issues or problems with connectivity and no need for wifi extenders my home is 1900 sq feet and I have complete coverage with a strong single in all part and outside of property. Security is one of the best features I look for when it come to my network keep in welcome persons off my network with the combination of security programs my netgear system is well protected.

Of all the products bought for my home network setup, this was the only pure plug N play. Love it, works great. I do however have all the outlets used already - make sure you count before you buy.

So I have a rather complicated home network. I plugged in the router and then satellite and then pushed sync button on the router and then satellite. Downloaded the app and was basically done. I made a few minor changes to suit my needs and was done. The Orbi worked just fine along side my current routers/ap and extender with any issue. This was the easiest setup of a home network device I have sern in 20 years. I always help others setup their home networks and will be suggesting Orbi only going forward.

Fast Router. Feels like a quality made product, more like an industrial or enterprise product feel. I have my SB8200 cable modem on eth0, home office on eth1, and Linksys mesh network on eth2. It took me about 30 mins to setup being new to this type of router. Used basic wizard to setup. Made sure NAT was enabled. Firewall is enabled. I had to reset cable modem to get things going. I used various videos on you tube for setup help. Router CPU and RAM barely get used during testing of several 4K Video Streams, ip phone calls, file transfers, and speed tests running at the same time. My COX gigablast connection runs at full speed most of the time. I still need to do some real throughput testing, machine to machine on local network. I use Airflow and VLC to cast 4K content from home office to my living room entertainment center. I definitely noticed a time difference. It simply takes less time for actions to engage and finish. I can tell it has a better brain. Time will tell with reliability but I suspect it will be my router for a long time. So far, I'm happy with its performance.

Bought this to expand our home network and it has done a great job. Setup was a piece of cake with our primary router being a Synology RT2600ac. I didn't try to expand our WiFi using a WiFi-based connection - I just plugged it into an ethernet connection and off it went. Now I have great coverage all through the house.

First off the aesthetics of the device in my eyes are amazing! sleek clean design that looks great sitting on my desk. So far the passed few weeks I have had no issues with network connectivity and have had full strength 5Ghz wifi signal all around my house. This was super easy to setup, so for someone new or unfamiliar with home network setup this should be a breeze for anyone with a smartphone due to there simple to use app. Port forwarding and DHCP reservations are simple and quick as well! Also the statistics you can view from the app and on the device screen are a pretty nice added touch! All in all I would definitely recommend this device to anyone looking to get a new home router\mesh setup!

Use for home network, including 5Tb of storage devices. Super easy setup, quiet, efficient, effective. This UPS saved my bacon within 48 hours of installation by giving me plenty of time to elegantly shut-down the system after a utility company power failure.
