Home Office Desk Facing Window

I love it. My home office desk is clutter free now.

I am using these speakers on my home office desk (from Uplift Desk) where I do legal work and compose music for symphony orchestra and big band. The speakers work very well in playing back the music using Garritan sounds and Finale. I can clearly hear the individual instruments and locate the occasional wrong note.

I've always been a ViewSonic fan. I'm a network administrator at a church with 112 users, so I've seen a few, but this is my first 32 on one of my own desks. In fact, I bought one for work to try it and then bought a second for my two-monitor desk at work, the third one for my desk at home, and a fourth one is in my future for my two-monitor setup at home. What I love about this one is the size. Of course, it's a ViewSonic, so the design is excellent, and the display is beautiful. It's easy on the eyes when you have to sit in front of one all day. But thanks to the easy arrangement of the windows in Windows 11 (hover over the maximize/minimize icon in the upper right-hand corner of any window), it's very easy to put two windows side by side, and it's big enough so that each window is definitely workable. It's almost like getting two monitors in one.

This is a simple device. I like keeping my headphones off the surface of my desk. I have one of these for my home and office.

solid and performs as advertised, did not anticipated how much space it would open up on my desk, now I want one for my home office!

I use these for car dialog scenes. Either in the car attached to the window facing the driver, or on the hood facing the front window. Holds my 7d firmly with whatever lens I use an I'm never really worried about it failing. One thing is that you have to figure out exactly how to place the legs through trial and error because even though it won't fall off the hood or window, if you place the legs wrong, the camera will droop down and you'll lose your shot. Set up the legs right and it'll work for days. Love this piece.

I wanted this for a NanoStation Loco. It wasn't really clear if this model was supported. Turns out that it is, with a little bit of thought. The NanoStation's shown in all the literature and ads is the taller, thinner version, with two bracket mount on the back. The Loco is shorter and fatter and has only one mounting bracket right in the center. Out of the box, this works fine for a wall (or window) mount where the device is facing away from the mount. However, if you want to use it to mount the device inside a window, that is, facing the mount, the loco won't quite fit. It slides down and hits the arm before the mounting clip is fully seated. However, if you remove the two finger-nuts/bolts holding the two sections and re-assemble reversed, this leaves more space above arm and everything fits perfectly. The mount works just as well.

Feels really solid. Clamped it to the bookshelf next to my desk to get the right angle for my home office space without obscuring monitors. Requires some effort to move the arm up and down but that also means it doesn't move around when you don't want it to so I like it. I was able to leave one of the fasteners loose so I can swing it back and forth freely which works great for me when I'm not actively using it.
