Home Office Desk Laptop And Monitor Setup Ideas

In my home office, I have two monitors on my desk and i missed having the two screens when I traveled with my laptop. I originally purchased a less expensive ASUS portable monitor and although it produced a clear and sharp image, i decided I wanted something that would provide a much brighter image and next purchased the ProArt PA 148CTV. This monitor is absolutely perfect as a second screen and i am extremely happy with it. Note, I did not buy it for its creative properties, but just to use it as a high quality add on screen, which it does very well. OK, I know this sounds odd, but i also travel with a 3 ft wide folding desk. This monitor has a tripod socket and I mount it on a mini tripod, so it sits just above my laptop's screen. Perfect!!

I was able to create a standing desk arrangement for my home office using this stand. Having your laptop at eye level makes a huge difference for comfort.

Whites are super white and perfect for office tasks. I think the highest refresh rate is 60hz, which is fine for most tasks but not ideal for gaming. That's really the only downside I see. One of the coolest features is the built-in laptop docking station at the back. I connected a wireless mouse, keyboard, and LAN cable, and then just used the included USB-C to connect everything to my laptop. It charges my laptop and gets all the peripherals working, reducing desk clutter with just one cable. I even mounted it on the wall in our office to free up more desk space, thanks to the standard VESA mount screw holes. The monitor is huge, so it's easy to display two windows side by side in Windows. The outer bezels are small, but the back is a bit thicker because of the dock. It doesn't have built-in speakers, but it does have a 3.5mm jack for your own speakers or headphones. Overall, it's a fantastic monitor!

Need to mount a monitor on a wall in your home office to free up a little desk space that wold be occupied by the stand? Don't really want an all-singing, all-dancing moves every direction contraption, that sticks too far out from the wall? Then this is the right answer. Mounted a friends 32 curved monitor perfectly and securely. Only downside is a very minimal number of bolts to attach this mount to the monitor; you'll likely as not have a $2 trip to the hardware store for the correct length bolts.

The best monitor I have ever had, bought 2. One for home and one for the office.

Works well with my Lenovo Thinkpad laptop to make for a very nice home office setup. Only complaint is that sometimes the monitor does not automatically wake up when my laptop is brought out of standby.

I really glad I made the purchase. It has done wonders for home office setup. I'm using it with a fairly large 15 laptop. No regrets.

This a great addition to my home office. I bought it after one of my monitor gave out on me. Now I carry around this with me as it is light weight and fit perfectly on my 14 inch laptop. It is very easy to set up from out of the box it comes with strong magnets to set up monitor on top your laptop screen. It does add bulk to laptop but when you need dual screen functionality it is great. Pic quality is good for doing office work.

I purchased this for my home office. The laptop has such a small screen that the monitor makes it so much easier to multi-task and be productive. I would recommend it for anyone for home office.
