Home Office Desks With Usb Ports

I use this to add usb ports to a Toughbook CF-19 Mk7 that I use in my cobbled together home office. I plugged it in to the Expresscard slot and it worked out of the box. I did not use the driver CD because I used Linux and those would be of no use to me. And yes, the cover closes and seals with the adapter in place. I can't speak to transfer speeds, because I'm using it to connect external keyboard, webcam, mouse, etc. For my use it works flawlessly.

Works great for a small home office. Many Back up ports as well as USB power ports. Replaceable batteries available.

I bought this to expand the network capability in our home office. This allows me to run POE and have spare ports to connect to. Can't beat this managed switch for the price!

I'm moving away from an unmanaged switch to this for my home office, and it does exactly what you need. You can tag different ports with different vlans -- for me, I've got some ports on my work network, and others on the home network and can keep them separate. The big caveat: you need to already be in the Ubiquiti ecosystem. I plugged this in, and my UDM picked it right up and was ready to adopt it. Works great for me.

my home office was at far end of the house from the cable router - no issues now. Love the extra ethernet ports on the satellite.

Small and compact but plenty of plug ins. Easy to use. Plenty of ports for my home office needs.

Needed to build a new NAS for my home office and needed a few Gigabit ports but also a few 10Gb ports. Was surprised how few good options there were for 10Gb switches. Under $500 USD there were either 4x 1 Gb and 1x 10Gb port or 4-5x 10Gb ports. Both options not working because of the few amount of ports. Found this one and it was so much better than other options. Have not used the smart web based features. So this was plug and play with my multi computer and multi NAS office. Very happy with it and will recommend to anyone needing a future proof switch!

Purchased this to install a home office network and was not disappointed. All ports are auto sensing and POE. It was easy to set up. The only minor irritant is the power cord which if racked is not an issue but on a shelf in a home situation adds another 3” to the depth. An excellent quality product.
