Home Outdoor Security Camera Poe

I installed each of the 4 SanDisk MAX ENDURANCE memory cards into the POE security cameras for my home. They work great for this demanding almost-always-on recording of high-def video.

I am using this PoE for a home security system with Vivotek IP8335H 720P HD Cameras. It was very esatly to install, just hooked up the network from my 4 port router to port 8 of the switch, and attached my 4 cameras to the 4 ports that supply PoE and off I went!! It has a total of 8 ports, however 1 port must be used to supply the network to the unit, then there are 4 with PoE capability and that leaves 3 regular ethernet ports. Nice switch for the price. So far I havent found any fault with this item.

Working from home our Wifi out on our deck was always spotty and very slow. I got this and a POE outdoor switch to ethernet back to my router inside. The only thing I regret is not doing this sooner. We now can stream 4K movies outside. Oh yeah and we can work too.

Used for POE security cameras, which worked great!

Works great for my Reolink PoE security camera. Output meets its specs and so far no issues. Runs very cool, smaller than usual PoE injectors I have and at an incredible price. Even comes with a wall mount and nice design that looks more like an ikea power adapter than a bulky utilitarian looking. Check if output meets your requirements and buy if yes.

I can't say enough good about this little switch. It offers per power management for data and power use. Yes you can order it to power cycle any particular port to reset those hard to reach AP's or cameras. It measures the PoE consumption of each port as well as the total draw from the PoE uplink. It's sealed against weather and mounts in harsh environments like attics and garages. Integrated into the UI software it's also helpful to track down problems with devices connected through it. If you have a router, you can also run VLANs through it to, for example, tap off a dedicated PoE ethernet line for a security camera and turn it into a general purpose trunk line for regular devices like solar inverters or AP's, and then VLAN the camera port back to the dedicated port on the NVR for added security.

Also the night and spotlight responsive provides visible setting. I am ecstatic about the Eufy Security Outdoor Camera and would definitely recommend it.

I now own 5 of these camera. I have had excellent satisfaction from all. I use them for wildlife viewing and home security.

These devices integrate through the ecobee App to create a very simple to use home security network for added peace of mind. And the Autopilot feature automatically takes care of turning on/off the security system and setting the thermostat to home/away as you come and go from your home. What a simple but effective design.
