Home Phone Internet Router

I use this to provide backup power for my satellite internet, wireless router and VOIP phone system. Occasionally, it also powers my laptop and external LCD. Works great and has more than ample reserves. Functions out of the box with Apple Macs and seemlessly integrates with Energy Saver in OS X via the included USB cable. No Cons so far.

I bought this router to load balance the internet from two ISPs in my home. The configuration and set up was easy and there are plenty of tutorials on the internet to help you. In the end, I was able to configure the router and my internet speed has increased quite a bit with this new setup. Very happy with this purchase.

Great router. Granular setup when logged into rather than using an app. Internet speed on home network tripled. The old wifi 5 router could not absorb the bandwidth being provided by the cable company. Buy it. You won't be disappointed!

I upgraded my out of date cable and separate router for my home office to the Netgear Orbi and am very pleased. The upgrade was excellent and very easy, the app makes the install process quick and I did have to call my ISP to register the new cable modem router combo but after that I was right back online. I give this 5 stars because the internet and wifi connection are great with very good range, no more slow internet or getting booted from websites and install was easy using the app by following the steps.

Very happy with this product and used with Netgear router for internet to my home and smart TV. Saving money with this product and my smart tv gets all I need without outside internet renting me their boxes or constantly increasing monthly fees and trying to sell me unneeded packages. Will go for the all in one unit next time when I at some point replace so modem and router all in one piece of equipment with Netgear. Very happy with my purchase and highly recommended.

I have Synology NAS devices and thus expected the management software on this router to be good but it is even better than I expected. For example I can control (block) internet access to individual connected devices such as smart-plugs that I don't want phoning home to China and sending my Wi-Fi password. Can also prioritize some devices to get more bandwidth when the network is busy. So TVs don't buffer streaming video just because somebody else is downloading a big file. Configuration options are good for home or office use and includes security features I've never seen on other routers other than the Firewalla network firewall hardware. Can't comment on Wi-Fi range except that it works great everywhere in my apartment. I really appreciate that it has a tiny physical footprint -- unlike so many newer routers it takes up very little space on my office shelf. I don't have a backup internet provider so I can't use the feature that will switch to another internet source when the primary one fails. Even lets you configure an in-router VPN with free licenses for remote connections to your network. Bottom line it provides more than I need right now but has features I may want in the future, so I'm happy.

Had to upgrade the cable modem for home internet service. Got this because I already have a BlackHawk Router and these two work great together. Set-up was super easy and everything was working within minutes.

We are building a new home, interior finishes are in progress, heat and internet are live, and I can keep an eye on both houses with 1 app. Approved users have their phone linked to the system and it turns off the inside camera if they are there, but I can still tell from the motion sensors they are still there. If someone not approved is in the house I get a notification on my phone that a person was detected, and I can go to my phone an see who is there. Exactly what I needed! I have a security system in the current house I bought 2 years ago, it was state of the art at that time - I hate it!

Where I live is out of a city with no way to get home internet bought and had my cell phone provider activated and now I have whole house internet and can use when I go camping

This is a great little device for me! At home, I do not have unlimited internet so I cannot stream videos. I do, however, have unlimited data on my phone, so I can just plug this device into my phone and into the TV to watch streaming videos! Definitely worth the money and B&H was priced much lower than any other place. Plus, their products and service have been top notice for many years!
