Home Recording Studio Condenser Microphones

As the headline states these wonderful condenser microphones are used for recording Brass including all high brass, brass trio and quintets and other configurations. Am using in conjunction with the Tascam 24SD multitrack recorder, a Focusrite Octopre MKII preamp, and JBL 308 studio monitors. The condenser mic offers 3 settings for Omni, Cardiod, and figure 8 settings. These microphones are clear, and detailed and are perfect for brass. Having read the pros and cons of condenser mics vs ribbon, and am glad I went with these for the variety of recording that I am doing. Ribbons are expensive, delicate, and very accurate and warm for brass recording. Condensers are clear, flat, and highly detailed and sound great to me. A big plus is RODE offers a 10 year warranty when you register them online; provided you buy from an authorized dealer. B&H is the BEST and, of course, an authorized dealer. Love these microphones. One last note is this package deal includes a high quality cable, pop filter, and shock mount. Great value for a great mic. 5 |

I've been recording vocals for multiple artists using multiple condenser microphones along with a Focusrite Scarlett 18i8 audio interface and an Auray RF-CMS-S Reflection Filter. Undoubtedly this AT2035 has given us the best quality we could imagine. Along with basic knowledge of recording and mixing, this is the perfect tool for a home studio! 5 |

It's an amazing and versatile microphone for both the professional and home recording enthusiast. It's hard to believe that one can get such a quality condenser microphone at the price this goes for. I love what it does for vocals, and the dual capsule capability is a plus. I have had the pleasure of recording with much more expensive microphones that were in the lockers of studios where I have recorded in the past, but the V67i truly can hold it's own against many of them. 5 |

I'm a voice over actor and was previously using a usb condenser microphone for at home recording. I don't have the best sound proofing so decided to pick up a Dynamic mic and the Shure SM7B was the most recommended. It's been great as I don't have to fix as much in post with room tone and sounds coming from other rooms 5 |

I have used this mic for a while. Also, it is my first, home recording condenser mic. I have been using UX2, which is a really old audio interface. However, this mic was very well suited. Now I have Rode NT1-A, not a huge upgrade. Honestly, I really don't see difference except for the tones and sound itself. When I sing with NT1-A, I feel naked. I have to spend a lot of time with Adobe Audition to make it an listenable song. For AT2020, my tone is perfect. I just need to reduce the volume and add some effects to finish. I did not expect too much on this mic, but it was more than that. pretty good. 5 |

this condenser mic is tried and true for a home studio setup, i was also pleasantly surprised at the quality of the headphones! boom stand disappointed me a little bit, not the best quality some of the screws didn’t really hold and i felt uneasy keeping the mic in it so i just ordered a desktop stand which is honestly ideal for my setup and inexpensive. finally have my setup running and i’m very happy!! 5 |

bought this for a small home project studio. Very cheap for 2 condenser mics. A/B these mics against shure sm27 condenser. Both me and my kid liked the 2020 better, felt it was clearer and more realistic sounding on both voice and acoustic guitar. The 2021 sounded thinner with less bottom end. We'll use them on drums, guitar cabinets. 5 |
