best money Ive spent in a while If I had the room I would buy a couple more in different sizes for my home recording studio. Took about an hour to assemble paint is done right and don't believe it will scratch easy or peal etc in this lifetime. Good bargain 5 |

If you have an otherwise quite recording room (such as at night), but want to get rid of the room reverberation, this will work quite well. Perfect for home recording. In fact, I would say it works so well that it would be helpful inside a WhisperRoom, wherein the WS provides the sound attenuation for noise control, but the IsoVox 2 provides the anechoic aspect without using up real estate for thick wall foam or fiberglass. The only issue is that it gets hot inside quickly. So for short takes of a song, then come and out for a minute---no problem. But if you are planning on a half-hour long podcast in one go, not likely. Nevertheless, it yields tremendous anechoic advantage for not much scratch, and your projects will benefit tremendously for it. This is a professional-level tool in acoustic quality and build. Don't skimp on a cheap speaker stand---get the biggest and baddest you can afford. 5 |
