Home Security Infra Red Cameras

This is a one-of-a-kind filter that stops the Infra red leak on XDCam cameras like the EX-1 and EX-3. It WORKS! We shoot a lot of theatrical stage lit features, and before we added the T1 filter, the IR leaks turned black costumes into a deep maroon, magenta color. Not anymore. Blacks are black with this filter on.

Beats the heck out of the infra red version I had been using

Bought this to shoot infra-red with a Fuji Xpro2. It works great.

This is just the product you want for your home. It eliminates the need for those bulky and multiple cameras for your home security.

I have an expensive set of 67mm infra-red filters. Step-up rings allows me to use them on lenses with smaller diameters saving me money. This one is more expensive than the general brand, but the brass construction shows off, making it much sturdier and more precisely fitting than the alluminum ones.

I bought this mostly for my infra red camera, intending to leave it in place as much as possible. Now, after experiencing the terrific sharpness and contrast, I'll probably use it on my other cameras for my wide angle shooting.

Exceptional lens, a true Zeiss ! I'm using it with a Fuji X-E1 converted to infra-red. It gives wonderful color and contrast and does not have hot spots at any aperture. It gives beautiful color in the X-Pro. I would recommend it for all uses !

This is my first introduction to infra-red photography. Hoya filters are always a quality product. I'm still learning how to use this filter most effectively. Fun! B&H is always a class act!!

I've had this product for two weeks and so far it does what it says it will do. I setup my camera on a tripod next to my birdfeeder and go in the house to watch for a good shot. Almost seems like cheating. The single shot is instant, if there is a delay I did not notice. The multi-shot is not high speed, or I have not figured out how to use it that way yet. Bulb setting works well too. This works way better than the infra red remote because you don't have to be in the line of sight for the infra red reader in front of the camera. You can be anywhere within distance. And the distance works well too! The only concern I have thus far is the antenna for the remote. I can see that getting broken by setting it down or sticking it in my back pocket and sitting on it. Only if I leave it fully extended - it does retract. (telescope type)I am enjoying it for the wildlife shots. The remote does take a battery, instructions say it should last three years under normal use. The battery is preinstalled in the remote. The main unit also takes a battery that you do install. So you will see one battery when you open the packaging. (I spent a little time wondering how the remote was powered because I didn't see the battery for it.)

I have the sony and aftermarket infra-red remotes. This so much better. Does not require line of sight to operate.
