Decided to get back into basic 2 channel stereo as my wave radio just couldn’t get it done. Took the plunge, picked up this receiver and two of the Sony 3 way bookshelf speakers. Wow the power and clarity from the Bluetooth streaming is amazing. Needless to say a CD player and a phono ( which each exceeded the price of the speakers and this receiver) were quickly added on. If your looking to get back into vinyl or just enjoy CDs or streaming to the Bluetooth you can’t go wrong with this receiver.

This unit is exactly what I was looking for in a stereo receiver. The first thing I was looking for is quality. So far this thing works like a champ and feels well built by the weight of it. I do not need something that has all the whistles and bells. Although it has some extra features that I probably won't use it allowed me to connect to older audio equipment without any trouble. I wanted a basic unit to play music on through the radio and play cds. The design is simple to use and very intuitive. If there is one thing I would add to this unit would be having AM radio available. It's not a deal breaker for me but would be nice if it were there. The antenna could be a little more robust as well.

I have an old bookshelf stereo system (3 CD player, cassette, and radio) at my summer home. The speakers still put out a beautiful sound so I connect the Bluetooth adapter and am now able to play music from my phone, iTunes, Pandora, etc. A terrific value!

I have a Sonos home theater system (Beam, Mini Sub, Sonos 1s') in my living room, and I had an unrelated stereo music setup in another room. I recently bought a turntable which I hooked up to my passive speakers and my older stereo receiver. So I bought the Sonos amp to replace the receiver. Beyond the expected Sonos connection I found an unexpected dramatic improvement in sound quality from my turntable/speakers. Now my stereo sounds great with my vinyl collection and can be played n my living room and anther room where I have additional Sonos speakers. Fantastic! The amp has also given me other benefits -- a TV connected to it via HDMI, IOS control, etc. Well worth the cost....
