Home Theater Surge Protector Or Ups

Excellent Surge Protector. This is the second one that I have purchased for my computer and home theater system. Recommended by various independent sources, the protector functions as designed and looks good as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great surge protector protects up 3550 Joules of protection, 500 clamping voltes and is UL listed. If you have high end electronics such as tv’s , home theater equipment or computer desk top you’ll need a good quality surge protector at lest 2000 joules or higher I’m using this for my tv and home theater equipment and Wi-Fi router. Also has protection for phone line and network. Surges come from outside when you have a power outage and the electric company restarts your service and from inside of you home, each time your AC turns on and off can cause a surge from inside your home.

I like the fact that it has side connectors too! I would HIGHLY recommend this surge protector for everyone who has a home office.

This Surge Protector is the perfect size for behind my TV. I love that it has an outlet on top and botton for my bigger plugs and also the end outlet can accommodate a bigger longer plug as well. The last surge protector I had did not have them and my bigger plugs would cover up multiple oulets. I love that it has a small green power light and a small red grounded light so that you know it is working. If you need a 7 outlet surge protector look no further.

APC has been the leader in UPS power. The BR 1000VA is very well designed and extremely easy to setup. Knowing which outlets are surge protected and battery back-up up is easy, one side is battery, the other is surge only. Although it is a medium size UPS, it has 10 Outlets which 6 are battery back-up. This is very efficient for todays desktop and laptop users. I use it to power my home model/router and printer along with all the necessary accessories attached to my desktop. Highly recommend this product to anyone looking to protect their computers and home electronic devices. Lightweight and easy to storage. Detailed direction included on how to use the product. Very satisfied!

The battery catridge died in my home theater UPS (APC S15) after five years of intermittant use. What finally killed it was running the TV for over four hours when tornados took out our main power and passed around us. When power came back up a week later, it failed the APC unit's self check. APC's customer service bumped me up to higher level customer rep and he ran through the checks for me. He quoted me a price for a new one when it failed again. I placed the order and then received it within three days. The local battery store happily took the old one for recycle.

It has usb a and c ports and can charge or power multiple devices. We are really happy we got this and have been using for few weeks now. Highly recommend it for computer or any other electronica at home.

Great Surge protector! Not sure if it actually works until we get a surge though, Lol
