Home Theatre Projector Vs Big Screen Tv

I am using this projector in a home theatre with a 120 screen. I am driving it with a custom built HTPC and it does 3D as advertised. Picture quality is top notch and I keep it set on Eco mode for long lamp life.

This our first home theater projector, and all we can say is wow! We wish we added this to our home entertainment setup far sooner. Crisp, beautiful colors, deep blacks. Just as good in broad daylight as it is in a dark room. The 3000 lumens is a big hit. Like some other reviews have mentioned, it takes a bit to dial-in settings, but once that’s done, it’s a thing of beauty. No different from any quality display. A few things that we especially love: * The flexibility. This is great to travel with on family vacations. The fact that we bring such an awesome display with us on road trips is a game changer! * The built-in speakers make it easy to use it outside for the kids as they enjoy a movie night with friends. * The 4K resolution never fails to impress. * People have mixed feelings on 3D, but our kids LOVE it! Just note: you need EPSON 3D glasses to enjoy 3D. We didn’t know that initially, but worth it when we added the glasses. * Works well with our FireTV cube. * We’re able to shoot the projector off-center (horizontal and vertical) without any significant warp to screen resolutions. Keystone adjustments are easy enough. * It doesn’t get particularly hot and it isn’t noisy, especially on ECO mode. Bluetooth pairing with our Denon AVR-X2500 worked smoothly, but we did experience pairing issues with a Vizio B362 soundbar. YMMV. Also note, if you want a big screen (12’ +) you’ll need to place the projector a roughly the same distance from the screen. This isn’t a short-throw projector. All-in-all, Epson nailed the balance of performance and convenience with this projector package. We love everything about this projector. This is a review for the Epson Home Cinema 3800 projector that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

This StarTech converter will make it possible to stream election news to the 2003 big screen projector TV that was a gift. It works exactly as described.

This projector has everything I'm looking for: big screen, WiFi enabled, great sound and smart TV. I'm a cable cutter so this works our awesome for me. As movie theater seems to be a thing in the past nowadays, I'm glad I'm future proofed

Needed something to hold my components since we were transitioning from a TV to a projector and screen in our home theater. Always wanted an av cabinet with wheels and removable rear panel to make setup, upgrades, etc, easier, and it's as awesome as I imagined. Sturdy construction, rack standard ensures I can customize it down the road. Couldn't be happier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’’s with great anticipation I await the new release Cinebeam HU85LA. I’m a long time home theatre enthusiast having stepped through the ages of front projection from the early days of the huge 3 gun CRT units to the refined LCD and DLP technology that shrunk the box and improved the optics . Now eagerly awaiting the the 4K short throw evolution where patrons in my humble home cinema with low ceilings can cross the floor without boo’s from the audience for blacking our that crucial cinematic moment. A projector bridging the divide with large screen high quality images, an option sitting nicely between a flat panel tv with all it’s on board goodies such as a DTV tuner and the most popular streaming apps and possibly more. It seems to me this device will be a game changer whilst home theatre enthusiasts eagerly await yet the next evolution with affordable large screen Micro Led looming in the mists. Bring it on LG , you’ve already shown the world an evolution in flat panel tech with OLED, now show the world how easy and affordable it can be to go to the cinema at home with large impact viewing and high quality images that reluctantly drag you off the couch from binging on cinematic glory or your poison for play offs! Simply can’t wait!

This is my fourth home Theatre from BOSE. Love, the fact that there’s only one speaker involved. I did purchase the two matching rear speakers and the subwoofer. It makes such a big difference, it’s just like you’re in a movie theater watching A movie on the big screen
