I got these as part of a package for setting up my home voice recording studio. I don't have much to compare them to, but they work great with the pre-amp and mic I bought with them. Before I set all that up, I plugged them into my ipod and the sound was incredible; I was getting chills from songs I'd never have given a second thought. 5 |

I wanted to set up a home recording studio for voice work and audiobook recording. I had heard that USB microphones were low quality, so I was looking at others, but then someone I trusted (with experience in audiobook production) told me the AT2020USB was absolutely THE best mic I could buy. After searching online, I found that B&H had it for $$less than anybody else!! When my mic arrived, I opened it and plugged it into my computer and VOILA! I was in business.
