Homebase Batteries Cr2032

I run through a bunch of CR2032 batteries every couple of months. I like these because battery life has been good, and I can buy them at a reasonable price through B&H.

I had many concerns over this kit before making my decision. Now, I can clarify some of them after 3 months of use. (1) Can the solar panels keep the cameras charged during the dark drizzly winter in Pacific Northwest? Yes. I installed the 2 cameras south-facing with some trees casting shadows but not completely in the shadow. The camera batteries were always over 90% charged. I'm confident that I don't have to take them down for charging at least before the batteries wear out. (2) Is the detection fast? Yes. The detection is quite fast and effective. In a bright day, it can identify the person most of the time. At night, it cannot recognize the person. (3) Can I get notification instantly? Since the footages were stored locally in the homebase, the notification has to travel from the homebase to the cloud, and back to my phone. It usually takes ~1s. Whenever I walk into the camera's detection range, I expect my watch to beep within 1-2 seconds. Overall, I'm happy that I have a decent surveillance at my home without paying a subscription fee.

Very easy to use with apple tv as a homebase. Can use at home or away. I have other brands of wifi switch/outlets, by far the easiest set up

The RAYOVAC CR2032 Lithium Battery (2-Pack) contained two, count-em two CR2032 cells. Absolutely amazing!!. These were purchased as spares, so I have not measured their voltage yet. Presumably, they will produce the rated 3 Volts and will last for 190 to 240 mAh. They are 20 mm in diameter, shiny and light weight and most likely contains some lithium & manganese dioxide so are technically a LiMn02 cells. FYI: They can explode if heated to more than 80 deg. C.
