Homekit Doorbell Cameras

Love the reliability and homekit integration of this doorbell. Flawless installation and performance. Even survived the extreme heat/cold of Wisconsin!

Clear pictures, fast notifications and peace of mind make for a fantastic system. HomeKit allows for multiple people to view which is an added bonus. My Doorbell is hardwired for power and flawless.

I really enjoy the Ecobee Smart Cameras. The selling point for them was that they are HomeKit capabilities. The quality of the cameras are outstanding. They are sturdy and the picture quality is great.

The setup is easy. The confusion is whether you start with homekit or the WeMo app. The instructions provided indicate to start with the Weibo app which then triggers a firmware update and adding to HomeKit automatically. This makes sense since HomeKit currently does not upgrade firmware directly.

This camera works better than the Nest and Ring doorbell cameras that I had previously. Same features but responds better and no fees.

I have 3 Nest IQ Outdoor cameras and have just installed the Nest Hello Doorbell. The products are all excellent in quality. My only issue is the lag time from actual movement to the time I get notification. There seems to be a considerable time from real time to notification. I have the highest speed internet available so not sure where the problem lies. Any ideas on how to improve this?

Had the Ring Pro doorbell and recently switched to the Lorex to incorporate with my security cameras, and I am amazed at how much clearer the picture and sound quality is. I’m very pleased with the results of the upgrade.

I decided to upgrade to Lorex video doorbell for a few different reasons. First reason was I was using a video doorbell from my security alarm system. It always disconnected from the internet when you tried to playback video or talk through it. They always blamed my internet. The Lorex camera has a strong internet connection and only takes about 8 seconds to load even when I’m away from home. My second reason to upgrade to Lorex is I have 8 wired cameras that work great. It’s very convenient to have all my cameras under the same brand and only needing one app. Have 4K video is also a bonus. If you’re looking for a video doorbell go and a purchase, you won’t be disappointed. For several reasons, I opted to upgrade to a Lorex video doorbell. Firstly, my previous video doorbell, integrated into my security alarm system, consistently disconnected from the internet when attempting to playback video or engage in voice communication. The manufacturer consistently attributed these issues to my internet connection. In contrast, the Lorex camera boasts a robust internet connection and only requires approximately 8 seconds to load, even when I am away from home. Secondly, I have eight wired cameras that perform exceptionally well. It is highly convenient to have all my cameras under the same brand and only require a single application. Additionally, the 4K video resolution is a significant advantage. If you are seeking a video doorbell, I highly recommend making a purchase, as you will not be disappointed.
