I used the Utility Loop to secure my camera to a homemade strap. The Utility Loops are very well made, feels very solid and are easy to use. Materials seem like very high quality. These are no-nonsense general purpose connectors that work and look good, adding a finished look to projects and are visually appropriate with camera equipment. 5 |

Finished my first direct print images in a one-of-a kind homemade walk-in view camera. Developed in warm-tone Ilford, the prints look great for a first attempt. It is a high-contrast paper. I may try a short pre-flash to manage the contrast. My camera is also the darkroom. I didn't have room for a stop bath and had some swirls by going straight to fix. My lens will cover 20x30 inches. I wish they sold larger sheets. 5 |

After reading reviews of third party and homemade remote switches that didn't work or, in some cases, damaged Canon cameras, I decided to go with the Canon remote made specifically for my camera and similar models. The price point for this quality item is right on. It's small but easy to handle and the half-depressed button function is exactly like the regular shutter button on the camera itself. I've used it with the viewfinder as well as the live view function without any problems. Most of my photos using it have been on a tripod and using a macro lens (the obvious reason for using a remote switch). If your camera allows mirror lockup like my EOS 70, this remote allows the absolutely sharpest pictures possible. Love it! 5 |
