Homemade Television Stand

I use these on my light stands to make sure the stand and lights wont topple if someone accidentally bumps into it. I tried to make one myself with a pillow case and landscaping pebbles thinking I might save a buck, but honestly, one I broke down and bought a few of these for additional light stands, I wont go back to my homemade version. These sandbags are nicely designed, weighted well considering the size and dust doesnt spill out of them like my homemade sandbag!

After using a homemade stand I came across this and had to have it. What a treasure this is! It holds my MacBook with room to spare. The inside rim of the top has soft fabric all the way around, and I love the space they've left for my cords so everything lies flat and stays in place. It's VERY sturdy so I don't have to worry. It is adjustable in just about every direction so it can be customized depending on your set up.

I bought this product to mount a computer screen to a light stand for a homemade Teleprompter. It is extremely strong and sturdy.

If you'd like more flexibility with your television, then hanging on the wall, and you want to be able to move it to various locations, this is the only stand to get. It's completely stable, infinitely strong, reasonably priced and very easy to move. I highly recommend it.

This is the second FPS6000 stand I purchased. Both are used to hold and elevate LED Smart TV's to prevent mounting to apartment walls. This stand is holding a Samsung 49 UHD Curved television and the other stand is holding a 40 Samsung LED television. The 49 television met the weight requirements for the mount and the TV is attached using VESA mount extension arms attached to the mount (photo attached). The stand is well constructed and sturdy enough to hold the television without shaking even when raised. It definitely needs to be on a level surface. The legs can extend further which will provide additional stabilization. I would suggest if using for speaker or display - to add a sandbag weight particularly if it will be in high traffic area. The stand is light enough to pack and carry in light stand bag when used to hold the 40 TV when used as mobile display.
