Honeywell 6500 Wifi Thermostat Installation

Bought this in Oct 2018, to replace a standard Honeywell 24/7 programable thermostat and found this very simple to install and use. I emailed support a picture of current wiring and they came back 2 days later with the recommendation for the wiring. Within 10 minutes it was up and running. I use the geo fencing feature and it have learned my setting preferences to provide energy savings.

The Ecobee was recommended to me by the HVAC guy I had come out to remove the Honeywell thermostat I had installed. Turns out it was defective. The HVAC guy could tell I didn't know much about installing thermostats so he recommended Ecobee. It was also the least expensive of the newer "smart" products. I had no trouble at all putting in the Ecobee and getting it to work. And I love being able to adjust the setting with my phone.

Had an old Honeywell thermostat that came with the home built in 2003. Couldn't tell exact temperature. Wanted s smart thermostat that I could adjust while I was away to save energy. Purchased through my utility company and got a great deal and free install!

Really glad made the decision and replaced my 3 month old Honeywell thermostat thought it was same expensive

We love the recyclable packaging the product came in. It was super easy to install. The design is very sleek and I like the display and I love the eco+ and the smart home and away feature to help save money! We’ve only been using the for a few weeks but so far we are happy!

A Little problem with Honeywell camera installation but they connected. Everything else connected on the first try. Has been rock solid so far.

The thermostat has been working flawlessly since installation. This is more accurate than my old analog thermostat.

OK! Now on to the fun part. I was so excited to see I was receiving this ecobee smart thermostat Influenster vox box. It arrived today and we installed it right away. We even timed ourselves because the installation guide said it would take 45 minutes, it only took us 30-35! I will only review the aesthetics & installation of the product because as far as efficiency goes I need longer to determine that. Aesthetically the ecobee smart thermostat is so pretty & sleek and gives off a homey Tony Stark vibe. As far as the nuts & bolts of installation, it was a breeze. Be prepared, this device is definitely for those that enjoy tech. We did a DIY install and the device app you download literally takes you step by step thru the installation process and points out attention to detail for extreme safety. One of my friends/colleagues introduced me to the Nest family of products. He has helped me with the installation of the thermostat, I should have asked him to let me set it up, so I could figure things out instead of having to call him every time I have a question. So far, I am enjoying the many new features I have access to now such as "away" and voice commands.
