Honeywell Home Thermostat Connect To Wifi

Had an old Honeywell thermostat that came with the home built in 2003. Couldn't tell exact temperature. Wanted s smart thermostat that I could adjust while I was away to save energy. Purchased through my utility company and got a great deal and free install!

Love the NEST thermostat! Easy to install. Just follow the directions. Easy to connect to wifi. App works great and love the ability to connect to the Amazon ECHO. Let's you control the temperature using Alexa!

Bought this in Oct 2018, to replace a standard Honeywell 24/7 programable thermostat and found this very simple to install and use. I emailed support a picture of current wiring and they came back 2 days later with the recommendation for the wiring. Within 10 minutes it was up and running. I use the geo fencing feature and it have learned my setting preferences to provide energy savings.

The Ecobee was recommended to me by the HVAC guy I had come out to remove the Honeywell thermostat I had installed. Turns out it was defective. The HVAC guy could tell I didn't know much about installing thermostats so he recommended Ecobee. It was also the least expensive of the newer "smart" products. I had no trouble at all putting in the Ecobee and getting it to work. And I love being able to adjust the setting with my phone.

Really glad made the decision and replaced my 3 month old Honeywell thermostat thought it was same expensive

We love the recyclable packaging the product came in. It was super easy to install. The design is very sleek and I like the display and I love the eco+ and the smart home and away feature to help save money! We’ve only been using the for a few weeks but so far we are happy!

If you have a small BIZ or a large home and you care about the speed and signal of your WiFi then this is for you. Some say that you have to be techie to configure, this might be true if you want to utilize all the features but user the smartphone app pretty much covers the basics for the average users, SSID (WiFi Name, Password etc) For more advanced users you have similar features offered by sonicwall and cisco, like using multiple AP (these devices) across your home or office and only having one SSID or WiFi name and password so users can connect to and move about and their laptop.. smartphone .. tablets would connect to the one with the strongest signal, you also have the option to create a guest SSID, So if you have people coming over or people visiting your office, you can set that up so they can connect and you can limit their bandwidth and separate them from your network...

B&H delivered the ZWO Seestar50 in one day. I was able to set it up and connect its app to my iPhone and home WiFi easily . The next day I tried out the included little solar filter , and the scope found the sun and imaged readily. A terrific bargain, especially on sale right now. Thanks B&H!

got this bc I don't have WiFi. Took a while to figure out how to get it to cast onto the TV from my Android phone (Moto g5s plus) without a WiFi connection. First, turn off WiFi setting on the phone. After Chromecast plugged in, download Google Home app on the phone to connect. During setup, when ask to connect to WiFi, turn on the phone hotspot and connect to the phone hotspot instead of WiFi. After connection complete, can uninstall Google Home app and still cast via phone hotspot. Found helpful setup videos on YouTube

I have used the Ubiquiti system for more than a year now, purchasing this item to further convert my wifi network to a unified one. Rather than constantly connect to the stronger wifi signal as I roam around my brick city home, I now amy able to connect to one SSID that hands me off to each hotspot seamlessly. It is easy to set up and having 2 ethernet ports allows you to hardwire a device as well as use wifi using this one device. If you intend to put this throughout your house, you can look into purchasing a ethernet switch that has POE built in which eliminates the need to have a power device (included with this product) for every access point. If you decide to use the included POE, think of connecting it at the ethernet home run rather than at the point where you intend to place the wifi. I know this is intuitive when I write this, but it sometimes is not what you first think of doing. Great product.
