Honeywell Home Wifi Thermostat Installation

Had an old Honeywell thermostat that came with the home built in 2003. Couldn't tell exact temperature. Wanted s smart thermostat that I could adjust while I was away to save energy. Purchased through my utility company and got a great deal and free install!

Big improvement of my WIFI overage throughout my home. Easy installation using the Google Home app, even on my Apple iPhone.

Bought this in Oct 2018, to replace a standard Honeywell 24/7 programable thermostat and found this very simple to install and use. I emailed support a picture of current wiring and they came back 2 days later with the recommendation for the wiring. Within 10 minutes it was up and running. I use the geo fencing feature and it have learned my setting preferences to provide energy savings.

The Ecobee was recommended to me by the HVAC guy I had come out to remove the Honeywell thermostat I had installed. Turns out it was defective. The HVAC guy could tell I didn't know much about installing thermostats so he recommended Ecobee. It was also the least expensive of the newer "smart" products. I had no trouble at all putting in the Ecobee and getting it to work. And I love being able to adjust the setting with my phone.

Really glad made the decision and replaced my 3 month old Honeywell thermostat thought it was same expensive

We love the recyclable packaging the product came in. It was super easy to install. The design is very sleek and I like the display and I love the eco+ and the smart home and away feature to help save money! We’ve only been using the for a few weeks but so far we are happy!

First off, the touchscreen is bigger than the previous models. This looks good but also serves an important function - there is more room for the controls to be displayed and you can easily select what you want to select. 2. It works with Google, Alexa, Siri, and the popular home automation platforms. The app to control the system is clean, roomy, and self-explanatory. 3. The thermostat is easy to install but keep in mind the installation involves low-voltage wiring so if you're not comfortable with any part of the installation, it's best to have pro do it for you. There is so much to explore with schedules and sensors, it's truly an amazing thermostat. It's so easy to control your home temperature whether you're inside or outside your home. The SmartSensor - that remotely monitors occupancy and temperature does not come with it. You can easily purchase that and other cool accessories that can enhance your experience with the thermostat.

Did the DIY installation for this thermostat about a month ago and loving it so far! The instructions for installation were clear and easy to follow, and the helpdesk was prompt and helpful in diagnosing an issue with an extra wire. Overall loving the features of this thermostat and how easy it is to use. Being able to control the temperature from my phone in the middle of the night or when I don't feel like walking over to the thermostat itself is amazing. I also really like the built-in humidity and air quality sensors, giving me more information about the condition of the air in the home than I've ever had access to before. Overall a great product and I look forward to integrating with other smart home technology in the future.

A Little problem with Honeywell camera installation but they connected. Everything else connected on the first try. Has been rock solid so far.

The thermostat has been working flawlessly since installation. This is more accurate than my old analog thermostat.
