This is the second SeaSonic power supply I have used in a system build. The last one, which was purchased ten years ago, has performed flawlessly. There is no reason to expect anything different using this one. I bought the platinum this go around for a small bump from 80-PLUS Gold price. 5 |

Building a silent system the power supply is always the last item to contend with to stop more system noise. After I put the Seasonic in place no more extra fan noise that I couldn't control. Does an amazing job powering my system and as components will only get less and less wattage (hopefully) as time goes on 700 watts is more than enough for most high ending gaming systems. Amazing job as usual Seasonic and the quality is amazing. Always buy SeaSonic you will never be disappointed. 5 |

I've had this drive for a couple of years without failure. Yes, as some have mentioned, it runs pretty much continuously unless you set up some power management, but I prefer to shut my system down, and it powers down with it. I recently had the power supply fail in the device, just before the warranty expired, and I used their website's chat to contact them. They gave me the option to ship it to them or install the board myself (it was fairly simple), and I opted to install it myself. They shipped it to me quickly, and I was back up in very little time. With the new power supply, it turned out one of my drives failed, and I was getting some odd behavior from the lights, so I got back online with them, and the quickly got my system back up, with all of my data in place. They were friendly, professional, and fast. Electronics fail, and my experience with them turned a bad situation into a good experience. 5 |
