I live in Canada, aslo i live near a large body of water. I always have my SONY M10 recorder on me and i dont want to miss a good sound when i can. So i also keep my dead kitten on me. Its just a must. I like the RODE one because of the elastic and price. Basically i dont think a furry changes form company to company, but i abuse my furry ALOT and it never fails.

This processor runs hot. Make sure to use a cooler with lots of ventilation or go with water cooled.

Wow. On my small sailboat I used it to run my hot water kettle, shop vac to suck up water, and portable refrigerator. Planning to add a microwave. Charged well with solar panel. This will make extended sailing/anchoring so much more comfortable. This is one impressive device.
