Hot Wind Blows Instrumental

Beautiful diffusion, no blooming at all. Little to no noise when the wind blows it. Very well made.

Use it in very heavy wind in intense weather on my RE50 mic. Sometimes the wind literally blows these away so I have to keep a supply on hand. They work as well as the $ ones, so why pay more?

heavy enough not to show any vibrations as people walk by or as wind blows. i can loosen various parts w/o shaking the camera to rotate. satisfied for the budget price. easy to use. there is also a compass on one of the legs. under the stand there is a hook. two of the legs have sponge grips. but one of the legs have a clamp that seems fragile-it feels like i'm breaking it when i close it. but it's still holding the legs up. used it for a few events and no problems.

Not only does this umbrella give a great quality of light and catch light, but it saves your flashes when the wind blows your stand over because you're too lazy to carry around a sand bag or 2.

The tripod is light weight for carry around yet sturdy if the wind blows. So far I have had no issues and a usual Manfrotto makes a great product. Well worth the money.

Great little addition to any instrumental setting

I've been using this tripod for a month now, and in tough conditions (wind, direct, hot sunshine, and even in rain. The rig is made of very solid materials that work exactly as designed. I don't even notice it in my luggage, and my wife carries it up and down hiking trails and urban streets with no complaints about weight. For the money this is your winner.

My first recording with out a microphone was a hot noisy mess. The XM1 cleared that up right away. My only complaint is the lack of a furry wind cover. This purchase alleviated the wind noise completely.

This is the second umbrella I bought. I lost the first one in the wind. I actually bought another brand of 60 umbrella and wasn't happy with the spread of light. The other one had some hot spots. This one did not. And it allows me to photograph large groups without any hot spots. Perfect for weddings and events.
