I use the Nikon NC filters on all my lenses -- about 20 total. I bought 52mm for my Nikon 18-55mm lenses and Nikon 55-200mm lenses. I duplicate some of my equipment so that I have stuff at my house in Texas and at my house in Iowa. These provide protection for my lenses. I have dropped a heavy lens, busted the NC filter, and not damaged the lens. Cheap insurance for a $2000 lens, I'd say. 5 |
