House Security Camera Footage

I have 3 security cameras around the house. This is the best. The night vision is excellent.

Best product I've reviewed This security camera has exceeded my expectations in all areas of both ease of use and performance. We live in a very rural setting with poor internet. We put the Lorex camera in my husband's shop, which is all metal and about 40 yards away from the house where the Wi-Fi modem is. Out of the box (which was nicely packaged), the camera was extremely easy to install and comes with a variety of ways to mount it. It pivots easily on its base - we just stand it on a windowsill in the shop. The printed directions that came in the box were clear and concise - easy to follow. The software (Lorex Home) was extremely easy to use, with step by step instructions for finding the device and setting it up. Once set up (which took about 5 minutes), we put it in the shop and I went back to the house, not really expecting a connection. To our surprise, not only did it work, but the picture quality (1080p-HD) was amazing. The wide angle lens lets us see most of the shop which is 60'x100'. Sometimes, depending on the conditions, I'm not able to use the Live view which is not the fault of the system but rather our sketchy internet, yet even then it does record any movement or loud sounds. A bonus is that I can use the microphone to tell him when dinner's ready without having to walk out there. That would be my only negative comment is that I wish I could increase the Microphone volume so he could hear it over his loud music. I was even able to talk over the microphone when I was 25 miles away (through extreme hills and valleys). We had a recorded event at 4:14 a.m. and when we looked (I had turned off notifications) it was a bug walking across the camera lens. The night vision quality was very impressive since the shop was completely dark at that time. Overall, the entire system is very well made and well thought out. We have an Arlo security system for outside and this system exceeds that in many ways - very impressive for the price point.

I bought this TV to use as a monitor for my new 4 camera House security system. It seems to work great for that Purpose. I haven’t tested the DVD player yet- or used it As a regular TV - so I can only say the visual resolution - Picture acuity is very good for the size screen at such A reasonable price. B & H always stands behind their Products and gives excellent customer service. I am a Regular customer. Still I purchased a 2 year protection Plan as extra insurance. I wanted a smaller screen to Save space and this works great. Thank u B & H!

I really like this HDD. It lets me run six 4K security cameras and keep about four days of footage while running the recording 24/7.

I'm a documentary filmmaker who does a lot of traveling and I appreciate the security of my footage above all else. My primary backup drive is a 4tb G-raid (one of the newer ones that is the same size as the 2tb older model). I was pleased to find that my drive fits perfectly in this case. Fantastic! The only words of wisdom I can offer is that you should perhaps put one or two of those moisture absorbing silica packets from beef jerky in there to absorb any extra humidity and make your drive smell like beef jerky.

I bought 2, 3 months ago for deer hunting. Then I bought 2 more for security around our house. They work great!

We produce video footage as an in-house studio for our corporation's marketing. Much of our work is outside on locations. We had a long discussion over the Lark Max Duos, because no one had used them, so the argument for more familiar brands was strong. But we took a chance on the Hollylands based on some solid reviews on their low ambient noise, clean recordings and the potential for a safety track. We record through the Hollylands into a Zoom H6 in order to monitor the levels more closely, but on Friday last week we lost about a minute of audio recording at a critical point in the presentation. Due to an error in communication, we didn't roll sound on the H6. Thankfully, the Hollyland lav on the presenter's mic was set to record and we never turn that off except for longer breaks (the battery life is extraordinary). When we discovered the gap in the H6 recording, we thought we'd have to get the CEO to do a voice over to patch the glitch, and made arrangements with him to schedule it. Then we remembered the constant recording on the Holland Lark Max! Saved the day! We've been using these now for about 3 months, and they have done away with the reservations held by members of our team, back when they argued for more costly options. Really good product.

I am enjoying using this camera to capture 4K footage.

I really like how it's 180 degree so that I only need a single one to cover a side of the house. I like the light that acts like a security light. I set it up so that it turns on only at night. And I can easily get an rtsp stream so that the feed can be integrated into any recording software.
