House Wiring Ethernet Adapter Reviews

I purchased this to increase the WiFi coverage in my house. I was considering purchasing 2, but started with 1 just to see the coverage. Overall, I get about 25% better signal at each end of the house with this set up in the center so an improvement over the WiFi router my ISP provides. I have basic networking experience and the software was a breeze to setup. I really think anyone could do it, but give yourself a good 15 mins to click around and understand their web interface. I simply plugged an ethernet cable into my existing WiFi router, then into the PoE adapter that came with the AP. Then just ran a second ethernet cable from the PoE adapter to the AP. Mounted it on a wall with their hardware and was done, took less than 5 min total.

Not much to say, it's a USB to Ethernet adapter. Works exactly like you would want it to.

my big idea was nice sound for my ranch style house .. no wiring. WOW , its clear , crisp, and even on low , great sound in all rooms. best of all , the neighbors cant hear it .

works great, does not heat up as much as other ethernet adapter I've had.

I been struggling with my Sonos at my new home with my connections. I tried hard wiring as many as I could and triedy own wifi mesh system, and all helped, but I connecting to had issues grouping more than 2-3 units in the house. I decided to give the Boost a try and let it behold, it worked fantastic. The set-up was easily wired, plugged in, and go to the app to add boost. One quick update and noticed the system started working so much better. Now I'm able to play my whole house with no delays on the skip and outs, and it even works great with high-bitrate audio. I really wish I had done this sooner!

Wiring up and start p with NetGear’s software was straightforward and simple. Rearches anywhere in the house including the basement and patio without any dead spots or slowdown in the video.

Although the units are expensive, for less than $2000 I have accomplished, without wiring, my goal of streaming music throughout the house. I can select rooms to play different music, adjust volume, etc., from my phone, tablet and computer. Very happy with Sonos quality and overall outcome.

I was looking for a wireless solution since our house didn't have structured speaker wiring and doing so would be very difficult. These Play 5's allow me to fill my main floor with one speaker as well as our outdoor deck and basement walkout patio with a speaker on each level. Using WiFi is so much better than Bluetooth and more reliable with using my phone as the music source. Linking them together is an ease and the sound quality is AMAZING!
