I have a the charger Canon makes but wanted a backup. Not only is the Pearstone charger about half the price of Canon's,it also comes with a 12-volt DC attachment so I can charge batteries in my car and with a plug adapter that is the one most commonly needed one in Europe - Canon's charger does not have these. 5 |

Maybe this isn't quite what Sony had in mind for it's adapter. I use a 12 volt dc sealed cell battery, plug a 120 volt converter into that, then convert it back into dc with the Sony adapter. I do that for extreme extended battery use for astrophotography field use. It seems to work fine. There's no overheating in any part of my contraption, including the Sony Adapter. 5 |

So nice to get to charge all 3 of my batteries at once. It can also be ran off of a small inverter from a 12 volt plug in a vehicle. Definitely worth the money. 5 |

I used the supply to power 2 G4 style LED under counter lamps. They are 12-volt LEDs that I wired in parallel and each use 240mA so the 500mA rating of this PS was perfect. 5 |

I was looking for a 12 volt power adapter with a long power cable. The Bescor power adapter has a wall wart power adapter with a 6 foot cable to the DC power end. I wanted to operate my AndyCine monitor on my camera and plug the power adapter in at the floor because it is difficult to have to mount it on the tripod so it isn't dangling. This adapter is perfect for my needs. I'm glad I found it at B&H. 5 |

I love this camera, it’s one of my favourite so far. The fact that under status you can tell you are using the 12 volt SPYPOINT battery is wonderful addition. The only thing left to make it better is to indicate the power left on you 12 volt external battery 5 |
