Perfect for my 15.6 laptop.

This is what i needed for my 15.6 laptop.

My laptop is running 16GB of RAM, an i7 processor and a 1TB hard drive. �(Due to the size, it was slow - 5400 rpm.) �I wanted an SSD when I bought the laptop 4 years ago, but prices of SSD were sky high if you could find them. �This is a much more reasonable price. �If you are maxed out on RAM, this is the next upgrade to look add - the loading and saving process is so much faster and reliability substantially higher as there are no moving parts. �It breathes new life into Windows based units!

Got this for my 15.6 HP laptop and it fits perfectly. I like the compartments and pockets. Slim and functional.

I installed this drive in my new HP 15Z Laptop about 3 hours ago and have been using it ,testing it ,and this drive vs the 1tb spin drive installed in it from the factory is like daylight and dark difference both performance wise and battery usage wise. I highly recommend it to all.

Replaced the original mechanical 1TB hard drive in our HP Pavilion laptop using the Samsung Migration software. Made an image copy of the old drive, removed the old drive and rebooted into all the content that was there before! Superfast boot, applications open in an instant. The old computer had a slot for the optane cache memory and this fit in the M2 slot with no problems. Like a new laptop for $100 bucks!

I ordered the i7, 8 gb ram, 512gb ssd version. (Replaced the 8gb ram with 32gb myself) This machine replaced my mid-2010 iMac and boy, what a difference in speed. Not only is it fast, but silent. I would recommend only getting 8gb of ram, then upgrading to 16,32,64 yourself. You'll save a ton of money.

This was a great add-on for my new Mac Mini i7 that shipped with 8gb. Installation was a breeze and the added performance has been quite an improvement. Thanks, Crucial!

It's the max the machine in question supports, more than it's little 6th gen i7 will ever utilize. I went from not enough at 8gb to no worries at 32gb.

upgrade it with Intel 6Core i7 & 16GB of DDR4, i run MacOS natively with 8gb and Windows10 & Linux on virtual box.. both with 4gb of ram and each occupies 1 core !! i plan on buying an eGPU also ;-)
