Hp 17 Core I5 Touch Screen Laptop

Helped revive an older HP Core i5 PC. Most helpful was that I had confidence when ordering that this part would be the right part. It arrived quickly, operated on install. Crucial made the whole process worth my time and money.

My chosen configuration for the HP envy desktop is Core i5 with Nvidia 1650 GPU and 256GB solid state drive + 1TB hard disk. This is perfect for all my needs and meets all expectations: fast boot time, no discernable lag in everyday use, no crashes, can run games at high graphics settings.

I was a little concerned about choosing the i5 quad core processor over the i7 that I had in my previous HP computer as I utilize a few adobe programs at a time. So far, I have no complaints with the overall speed, and can't really tell a difference. The screen is also smaller than my last which I was worried would be an issue but I honestly love the portability of this computer!  The Touch Bar is actually way cooler than I ever expected it to be, I think Mac has done a poor job of promoting its capability. And the integration with my iPhone is really awesome. They work together seamlessly and made setup a breeze as it sent a lot of data over to my computer. I was a little disappointed that it took longer to ship out than originally advertised especially since I chose to buy through B&H specifically because they had the earliest arrival date. I ultimately lost out on an entire day of work which cost me additional money, but considering the current climate, I understand and prefer to support local business over large chains. I've only had great experiences with B&H thus far. I just hope in the end this laptop outlasts my previous (also very expensive) laptop. Only time will tell.

Amazing core i5!!! Good processor at a good price

It has what I was looking for: a high-performance core i9 processor, a touch screen and a good graphics card for gaming. Maybe the only thing that can be improved is the weight

Performance in my 17 HP Envy Touch replacing the oem hard drive was staggering. Went from several minutes boot time to 7 seconds. Core I7 with 16g Ram. Easy install and cloned 1Tb in under an hour using Acronis software provided by download.

Works as well as intended. Used primarily for laptop touch screen.

Needed this to keep a Core i5-11600K from giving me a sun tan. You KNOW the 11600K can get hot.
