Awesome Mic. Our Church has G2's, G3's and now a G4. Every generation of Sennheiser Mics gets better.

I upgraded from a G2 and a G3 set, both of which were in the 600mhz block. I started to experience lots of interference in the last year with those sets, likely due to the auction of that frequency block. The G4 looks and operates almost exactly like the older units, except for a new nice white lcd backlight. So far my interference issues have disapeared, and the G4 seems to last all day on one set of batteries. The sound quality seems great to my ears, especially with upgraded lav mics.

Having been on Home Fiber for over a year and noticeable differences in download speeds between PCs with the same setup, I decided it was time to upgrade my home network. I had been using a Nighthawk X4S, but it could not keep up with a family of 6 (with 4 teenage boys who game all the time). In January I started my transition to a new home network setup. I went with Ubiquiti line of products for networking/security and Synology for my NAS. My home already had CAT5e running to the majority of rooms, but I took this time to run some more lines to hard wire as many devices as possible. Below is my current setup. It may be overkill, but I am consistently getting over 900Mbps on all wired PCs (which never occurred), gaming devices are downloading faster than before, and WIFI signal across my house and outdoors (1.5 acre lot), is better than it is has ever been. For the first time, I feel like I am getting the full benefit of Home Fiber. My Synology NAS is attached by to my UniFi Switch via Link Aggregation. Setup was easy and it has been performing flawlessly. I am using it to backup 7 PCs, Photos, Home Videos, Movies, Music. B&H shipped everything out quickly and I received everything in a timely manner allowing me to stay on track with my project. It took my 2 weeks to convert everything from start to finish. UniFi Dream Machine Pro (UDM-Pro) with 8TB HD UniFi Switch 24 PoE (USW-24-POE) 2 UniFi Pro APs (UAP-AC-PRO-US) 1 UniFi Mesh PRO AP (UAP-AC-M-PRO-US) UniFi Protect G4 Doorbell (UVC-G4-Doorbell-US) 2 UniFi Protect G4-Bullet Camera (UVC-G4-BULLET) 2 IR Range Extenders for G4 (UVC-G4-IRExtender) UniFi Protect G3 FLEX Camera (UVC-G3-FLEX) Ceiling Mount for G3 FLEX (UVC-G3-F-C) DAC Cable, SFP+ (UC-DAC-SFP+) 2 Ethernet Surge Protector (ETH-SP-G2) Synology DiskStation DS720 2-Bay NAS 2 Seagate 6TB IronWolf 5400RPM SATA III HDs Synology 4GB DDR4 RAM (SYD4SO26664G)

I have both G4 and G3 now, and I actually bought the G3 after the G4 had been released. I was worried about the quality of the new units, but it turns out I was wrong! I experience less dropoffs, better battery life, faster scanning, and it looks more modern as well. The only negative is that I don't like the lapel mic adapter, but the audio quality is just as good.

I bought a set of G3 packs several years ago and they were great. Minimal to no problems, got me through a lot of interviews. Nowadays, I am becoming more known for audio than video, so I started upgrading my gear and THESE packs were a HUGE upgrade. I still have my G3s, but obviously the G4 is my primary go-to. The packs: Solid, sturdy, better display (blue, instead of orange), sharper text it seems. I have only had two instances of weird RF stuff. I just re-scanned the freq. and re-sync'd and everything was fine. I love having the confidence that audio isn't going to stop the show because lav packs are acting up, again. My biggest problem has been the mute button being accidentally switched and that's nothing to troubleshoot. The mic: The MKE2 is insanely better than the ME2 that comes with the G3s. I just used them side-by-side on a windy day. The MKE2 was clean and virtually unaffected. The G3/ME2 seemed noisy and much less pristine quality. Luckily, the talent wearing the better pack did all the talking. But, it was a noticeable difference. So, from here, that changed my mind - Time to get my G4 a sibling. I am going to buy two more MKE2 lavs for the G3s, and I am getting a second G4 system to round out my arsenal. This whole system is a significant upgrade for working pros. If you moonlight as a sound person, like a videographer role, the G3s are absolutely fine. But, for someone charging clients for a sound person, you need to deliver and these are perfect for corporate/doc/live event application. You often see people showing up with older packs and running into problem after problem. These Sennheisers are built for the modern day where everything is wireless and RF is everywhere. You start becoming everyone's go-to, because you are operating the most modern gear...and that equals money.

This is my first OLED TV replacing my 9 year old Panasonic TC-P65VT60 plasma, arguably the finest plasma TV ever produced. The Panny was mighty in its day with inky blacks and impressively nuanced imagery. As fine as it was, this LG G3 83 inch beast is a huge leap in viewing pleasure far beyond its massive size. At $1800 off MSRP through B&H and tax deleted by PayBoo, it was a steal. I am using the table stand which for stability purposes has the necessary backward lean which is minimally annoying. However, I prefer that to the risk otherwise of 90+ pounds of glass and electronics landing on my kids or grandkids should the earth move violently. I watched a G4 vs G3 demo on YouTube and although the G4 did show better HDR imaging, the differences are too subtle to matter as I will never have a G4 in the same room as the G3. As far as the knocks on the audio of this TV, I can't imagine viewing this TV without a dedicated high quality audio system. I have not listened to the on-board audio but when space is an issue, and this TV has used up all you have, I must believe it would be worth it. Enjoy!

This cable works perfect when using the Sennheiser G3 or G4 with the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Set the G3/G4 Reciever Output to 0dB for excellent levels going into the iPhone.

If, like many of us, you use G3/G4 ew100 systems as wireless camera hops, this is a must-have. Since the receivers use the output cable as a second antenna, it’s important that the cable be rugged and reliable, and the stock cable from Sennheiser isn’t the greatest. This cable is the best inexpensive system upgrade out there. A sturdy, metal locking 3.5mm connector promises to hold up during regular on-set abuse. The low-profile XLR connector also avoids bulk when placing camera gak, and allows the cable to nestle into a camera rig. And if using the G3/G4 receivers in a sound bag, the same benefits apply. Better performance from the cable as a second antenna, sturdy construction, easy to run the cable through the bag, and a low-profile XLR that keeps the side of the mixer recorder clean and tidy.
